Futurama is Back!

Odd, I figured I'd see a thread about this on here but I don't. It's probably just on another page, but since I don't feel like checking...

All new episodes of Futurama are back on tonight! This was perhaps my favorite all time animated show and I'm pretty damned happy it's on again.

So starting at 10 pm eastern/pacific on Comedy Central we'll see if the show picks up where the movie left off, or if it'll go in a new direction with the characters.

So pumped, I've been waiting since they announced it would return to Comedy Central.

I heard that the new episodes will be picking up right where the last movie left off.

I've only seen Bender's Big Score, and not the last movie. . .so i'm worried that i'll be a little lost.

I have to agree^.

I liked it, but was disappointed a bit with it at the same time. It was as if since it was on a cable channel they decided to try to make it a bit edgier and that they were just trying too hard to get as many laughs as they could.

I am just happy Futurama is back.

When will Fox learn not to do stupid things like cancel good TV series (e.g., *ahem* Family Guy, anyone?!).

I loved it I laughed a lot the whole robot thing was a bit lame but the episode was good. It would have been better if it was an hour and they could have fleshed out the story more

Who even remembers what the "Yonder" movie was about? That came out so many months ago - I've completely forgotten. All I remember is a golf course, a monster, and aluminium hats.

Did anyone else catch the little easter eggs that reference the other 2 movies
1. The Doomsday device used to power Bender is the same one from "Bender's Big Score"
2. The Lego Leela, reference to Leela's other Character in Bender's game Leegola.
I am sure there there is one for "th beast with a million backs" I just can't find it yet

I agree I use to LOVE family guy now he is just trying to see who he can piss off....Don't get me wrong its still funny at points,

Susan Boil had me in tears....... When fry walked in and Leela was singing "I Dreamed a Dream" and then showed Susan I busted out laughing

Who even remembers what the "Yonder" movie was about? That came out so many months ago - I've completely forgotten. All I remember is a golf course, a monster, and aluminium hats.

It was about an ultimate evil in the universe a fry accidentally gaining powers to read minds. It ultimately lead to a huge revelation and surprise in the Futurama series and the ending (I won't spoil) was most of the characters going on a quest and a "What will happen to us" Sort of a "Is this the last episode/movie thing."

You definitely need to watch the last futurama movie "Into the Wild Yonder" to really understand the beginning of this new season. I saw all the movies and loved every last one. There are mixed feelings on the return but mostly good.

I did see a clip from attack of the app. This quote was funny as hell.
