Channing Tatum is a horrible actor, so let's hope GI Joe doesn't ask too much of him

So far they all look great but I kinda miss the chrome mask that Destro always wore.

I am also curious as to how Joseph Gordan-Levitt is going to pull off Cobra Commander. And what mask he will be wearing.

Destro without the mask is disappointing. Can't wait to see who is going to play Cobra Commander, although it probably won't matter much since the voice will likely be dubbed.

I feel like their costumes are to much like special forces agents in any movie. I wish they coulda been a little more creative with them in stead of making everything black

I don't like the corset...I always imagined her clothes to be smooth...and the ribbed look doesn't work, and the belt is cheap looking.

He has the build for the part. I find it abit funny that Tatum and Gordon-Levitt both made the movie, although it will make the 'man candy' audience happy.


If they do a good job or not... we'll have to wait until next year to find out. Lets see if we can keep this thread alive till then, lol.

Where the F is Flint!? Sgt. Slaughter?! And Shipwreck, Wild Bill, Bazooka, Beach Head, Gung Ho, Roadblock, Spirit. Hopefully we'll get to see some of them if there are any sequels.

I hope they have other Cobra people too, like Zartan and the dreadnoks, those twins, that evil dr. with the monacle, and freaking Serpentor! And touble bubbles! hahaha!

I really hope this turns out to be a decent movie. Even without the cheeziness of the original cartoon, it's really easy to make a trashy film just for some quick cash at the box office. But with much better cartoon/comic movies coming out, unlike the 3rd and 4th batman films, this one might be good. I wonder if they can come up with a non-generic, believable plot around some rich lunatic obsessed with ruling the world.


I can't believe no one said anything about General Hawk's ridiculous outfit. Padded leather? Is he on the front lines so that he needs the protection? No rank insignia other than that belt buckle/badge? And give me a break with that holster. Seriously, he looks more like a tricked out redneck hick (reminds me of some good friends of mine, actually) than a general.
