Tampa is way better than orlando, all orlando is, is a big suburb of disney world. They only have theme parks, the tampa area beats it in most areas, such as better weather, has beaches(some of the best in the country for that matter), better theme parks (cheaper too), and much more culture.
 
Tampa is just a bit too boring, there's almost nothing here, I agree with the more culture, but jsut not interesting enough
