Love, love, LOVE Garbage. They are one of my favorite rock bands ever -- possibly my favorite of all time. All four of their albums are consistently amazing, and they are equally phenomenal live. I saw them in 2002 and again last year and they were just right on.
Unfortunately, I think we may have seen the last of Garbage -- at least for a while. They almost didn't make their last album, "Bleed Like Me." In fact, the band actually had dissolved after their third album, but overwhelming fan support motivated them to get back into the studio and record "Bleed Like Me" and subsequently go on tour.

Grabage forevah! I was so disappointed because once I became a fan, they had alreayd disbanded. Probably one of the onyl groups I'd ever see in a concert.

I had tickets to the UK tour before it was cancelled. Bleed Like Me is a very solid album, but I didn't see any real publicity behind it. Shirley's new material will rock, but I just wish they wouldn't leave enverything so up in the air.

Before Garbage, Shirley fronted a band named GOODBYE MR McKENZIE - they had a few minor hits in the U.K in the late 80's early 90's.
Their music was okay but not in the same league as Garbage.
My favourite Garbage CD is Version 2.0 - would loved to have seen them in concert.

She didn't front it, she was the backing singer. HOWEVER, dear sir, she did front the band Angelfish! I love both bands, but as you said neither are in the same league as Garbage!!!

GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever
This album in its own self has got to be one of the best drugs to me. I am so addicted to this album its insane how much of my life has been spent listening to it. I guess music has been my substitute for real drugs and I see music as a drug. But OMG this album is the fucking shit!!!
