Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Very good album, but my personal favorite is BeautifulGarbage. I love "Cherry Lips"...but

"Medication" rules...

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

"Push it", the first single, is a runaway train. That's what I call a kick ass song!! ..|

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I love me some Garbage! GetTogether19: you would probably like the cool British band Curve who many have argued Garbage lifted their sound from. I like both bands so I never got into the debate.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

It was a huge departure at the time from their first album but Version 2.0 is an astounding album. My fave is Hammering in My Head, and to mix something so techno-rock with tracks like You Look So Fine was genius. By far my favourite album of theirs.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I don't even think it's the best Garbage album, personally. :) I love the debut. 2.0 refines it, tries a few more things, but I think the first one is the killer.

When I met Garbage, I asked them to sign a copy of 2.0 for me. Shirley asked who they should make it out to, and I asked if they'd make it out to Pubert. (He's also a fan of the band, and I thought he'd get a kick out of it.) They apparently thought that "Pubert" was my nickname, because they all wrote "Pubert - thanks for all your help!" and "Pubert, thank you so much!". When I gave it to him, he was tickled, even if the comments don't make much sense. :)

Such a great album from such an awesome band...cant beat Temptation Waits

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

been feeling nostalgic for like a week now listening to only garbage

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I got the dvd when it came out a couple weeks ago, since then I've been fighting the urge to buy all 5 of their cd albums lol. I can't believe I missed out on Garbage for so many years and now I'm playing catch up. Many of their songs are absolutely genius, i.e. the break part of I Think I'm Paranoid.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Totally true i loved this album but i think bleed like me is their best one i dont know why still this is a classic album from an amazing band ... are they stilll together or not¿? i've read a lot of rumors :S

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

All I know is if you all ever get the chance you need to see them live. I have pretty much stalked the hell out of them their whole career draggen my happy ass all around the neighboring states to catch them live. If you at all are thinking "should I go?" You really should. Best song ever "Temtation Waits" and if you ever get the chance to find their B-sides do it because they have this song called "Trip my Wire" That you should listen to.

word up

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I adore Garbage and I also think that version 2.0 is their best album. Special is such a brilliant song.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Definitely one of my favourite albums, Hammering in My Head and Temptation Waits were some of my favourites

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

They officially broke up after album 3 (Beautifulgarbage) but reformed to release Bleed Like Me. They cancelled the UK leg of the tour (grrrrr. I had tickets) and are on touring hiatus but they've not split. Also shirley Manson is working on a solo album, which will rock.

Hewre endeth the lesson.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

You Look So Fine is one of my favorite Songs. It's so beautifully haunting.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Good album, but I don't know if I'd rate it that high.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

It's my favorite album!
I consider is one of the best i've ever heard!
my favorite song is push it.

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Garbage is one of my favourite bands :D, and I think I've got to agree, Version 2.0 is their best. But am I the only one that thinks that Beautifulgarbage is wayyy underrated?

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I LOVE this album it's deep and has awesome rythem.

Fun fact:

"Push it" was MTV's very first Making the Video

I love how powerful the lyrics and Shirley's voice are...I saw them live in concert and I was front right and it was AWESOME...i couldnt hear much after but i didnt fucking care LOL.

I love the song "Cup of Coffee" off of the album "Beautiful Garbage".

I saw them a while back and they kicked ass! Shirley and the dudes stripped the songs down to pure rock and roll and cranked up the guitars. Her voice is amazing. They did a beautiful cover of Patsy Cline's "Crazy" since they were in Nashville and playing at the hitoric Ryman. Excellent show!

Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

I'm kind of torn between Version 2.0 and beautifulgarbage.
Though quite different, I think both of these albums do a great job of highlighting their collective musical genius. Classic music from an amazing band. Can't wait to hear what Shirley's been creating for the solo album.
