Re: GARBAGE Version 2.0...The Best Album Ever

Ok, I wouldn't say that this is the best album EVER, but I can definetly see how it would come close. I was so, so, so addicted when I first got this record I think I must've driven my neighbours nuts. "Dumb" is the ultra best song on this record. And is it just me, but this one is a great album to have in the background while fucking?

I love Garbage though, and in my books they can do no wrong. The lyrics are sometimes weak, specially in "Bleed Like Me" but the music, and her voice just make you forget that. "Version 2.0" is definetly one of the greatest musical masterpieces. It's like, I wish people would shut up about dinosaur bands already and just start acknowledging really good contemporary bands.

BUT, I would say that Courntey Love and Hole have made awesome records too. There is no Hole or Courtney venture that I've not adored. See I would argue "America's Sweetheart" was actually one of the best records ever. Toss in there Sinead O'Connor's "The Lion and the Cobra" and "Universal Mother" and Thirteen Senses "The Invitation", Tori Amos "Little Earthquakes" and "Under the Pink" though Tori is another one who can do no wrong.

My favourite show with one of my favourite singers in it! It's like some surreal dream...I won't see it for a while yet though (UK)

I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad she is back where I can see her again. I heard so much shit about her record label and her solo album that is never coming out because they dont think its the right music for her. Thanks for the reminder to watch my wife tonight!!!!! Oh fuck thats now, See ya!!!

omg i LOVE her I was SO excited about seeing her on the show. I only saw the commercial last night. I was NOT disappointed.

and I love love love love LOVED that she's a Terminatrix!

I hope this becomes a full time gig for her. Love a bit of a Scottish accent on tele :)

anyone know what the song was called? if it's downloadable?

I went to go buy season 1 and had seen it adverstised on target's website for $18.99 but in the store it was $26. Same price at best buy.

I know it isnt THAT much more expensive, but just made me think "eh i'll buy it when the entire series comes out" LOL

She isn't exactly a nobody. I think they're coming back. I suggest you guys check out Absolute Garbage DVD. I plan to start a MySpace campaign to bring her back. She should also do some acting. I thought she was the best Terminator ever.

Yes she is really amazing! I saw Garbage live a few times back in the day and she's just as stunning in person as in her pics. Mmm! Beautiful sexy thing! Want. ;)

the goddess of bands that were great in the 90es and started sucking around the turn of the century. mentioning her name gets me a teensy bit more excited than mentioning courtney love or billy corgan, but not as excited as skin of skunk anansie.

(oh and replacing summer glau with manson is an abomination! i like manson just fine but glau could kick her ass!)

She didn't replace Summer Glau, she was introduced as a character in Season 2 of Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles, which also starred Summer Glau again as a main character!

Shirley Manson is awesome and I can't wait to hear new Garbage material! Her rendition of "Samson and Delilah" for T:SCC Season 2 opener was amazing!
