Do you have any on your car? I value mine too much to risk having it vandalized. Yet, I see them all the time (rainbow flags and pink triangles, mostly) and at those times I wonder how nice it would be to have one just to acknowledge that I am a fellow queer.

No Rainbow stuff anymore. . .had them when I was younger and newly out.

I do have an equality sticker from the Human Rights Campaign though.

Human Rights Campaign sticker--gets the message out and doesn't offend anyone.

seems like more lesbians do it than guys. I wouldn't, only because I don't like bumper stickers on my vehicles.

I personally don't have any bumper stickers on my car, but there's one car I see around my neighborhood that has two that I liked. On one side they have one that says Not Straight, Not Narrow, which is where I got the little phrase from that's on my JUB homepage. And the other says Hate is NOT a Family Value.

I've seen another bumper sticker similar to the Not Straight, Not Narrow one that says I'm Straight, Not Narrow. I've seen that one as well, so I guess you can get one for each sexual orientation ;)

I've noticed that too. The "not straight, not narrow" sticker I was talking about above is on a woman's car.

I've never put bumper stickers on my cars simply because I don't like the way it looks. The only thing I've got on mine is a "support our troops" ribbon, but it's not a sticker, it's a magnet.

I have the "Hatred is NOT a Family Value" on my vehicle . There were a couple of guys looking at it saying stuff like "Must be a Fag's" when I ame out of Wal Mart about 2Am one night ... As I approached my Jeep, they turned and came toward me ; BUT I did not wait . I reached inside my jacket and pulled out my .38 service revolver and you should have seen them run .!!!!

As a teacher you can lose your job for "conduct unbecoming to a teacher" (ambiguous isn't it) so I was only out to friends at work. As soon as I retired, I put a rainbow strip on the back of my car. I have actually gotten a note on my windshield telling me they were glad to know other gay people were in town.

I have a long wavey stripe of the gay flag. It looks great, and I have not had any problems. I do worry a bit when I go to the states. It is true that it is mostly lesbians that have flags on their cars here.

My license plate says "FRATMEN" which I think gets out the message enough.

We used to joke about what the various stickers meant. Like the long skinny rainbow strip meant, "I'm gay and proud, but I worry about the resale value of my car."

If I owned a car, I would. But, alas, I just have a backpack and rest assured that it's decorated :P

To remove a bumper sticker prior to selling your car ..take a hair dryer and get it hot ..aim all over the bumper sticker to get the glue soft again and simply remove it .... thus your resale value is left intact ..

I used to have one it said "It's been so long since I had sex, I can't remember who gets tied up!" loved the look on people's faces in my rear view mirror..

When I get a car, my Support our Troops magnet will go on it for sure, and I might put a small pink triangle on. I'm not sure....

On my slammed Chevy short-wide box:

"IF ONLY CLOSED MINDS CAME WITH CLOSED MOUTHS"
