It's reactionism; worse, it's religious reactionism.

As an actual religious conservative, I consider the surge of excrement they expound to be the biggest threat to liberty we face.

Oh, they have them, but thanks to the deliberate take-over by the 'evangelicals' back in the 80s, they don't get elected to anything but local office.
