It has long been the case that supposedly straight porn actors will 'go gay' for money. I suspect that they are not as straight as they profess. After all I, as a completely 100% gay man could never ever fake sex with a woman.
So what about legitimate actors who are allegedly straight but nevertheless regularly take on gay roles? Especially considering that increasingly those roles entail much more intimacy than perhaps if they were straight roles.

Nor could I. This reminds me of the porn actor who previously made gay porn as Matt Hughes and now makes straight porn (and, it has to be said, solo stuff aimed mainly at gay men) as Danny D. As Matt, he never kisses other men, presumably because it's too gay, but sucks cocks without any obvious reluctance. Explain that!

I don't know about "regularly", but I can understand actors acting. Take for example the rimming scene in Queer as Folk. The actors were Aidan Gillen and Charlie Hunnam who are apparently both straight. That scene was just about as intimate as it gets, but I've never seen speculation about the actors' sexual orientation.
