Suck my dick, Scalia!
Obsession to a hobby yes, but I have hobbies to where I've hardly spent any kind of money on. Friend spent almost $280 dollars on decks. I guess I just don't see paying that much money on something. I could of paid that much to get a better lens for my camera, and it would be put to good use too to make my pictures look three times as better.
But anyways I've had three friends trade in their PS3 console to get a 360. Why would you trade it in because of the PlayStation Network being down? Do people really need online play to survive? I started playing Yakuza 3 last night, it's a really good game and I enjoyed that it let me catch up on the story by letting me view Yakuza 1 & 2.
I guess I'm just a gamer who enjoys a single player game. Please tell me I'm not the only one like this or I'll seriously just flip the fuck out.
Don't take this the wrong way, but your friends need a good bitch-slapping right about now.
Sure, PSN has been down for 2 weeks, but XBL was down a whole month last year, and all anyone got for their trouble was a free shitty game.

At least Sony is giving everyone a free month of PSPlus as compensation.
Why anyone would trade in a great console/DVD + Blu Ray player/web browser for a system with a 60% failure rate is beyond me.
Yeah, it's crappy that I can't play RB3 co op with PSN down, but streaming episodes of Dexter and Nip/Tuck on Netflix and the huge library of kick-ass games more than makes up for it.
