I want to get the game but I will wait until the price drops down. I wasn't even looking forward to it. I was more looking forward to Saints Row The Third.

My first PS2 (Launch model) the lens fucked up so it stopped reading PS2 games. The disc read error issue, I fucking hated that. I blame it mostly because I used the PS2 as a DVD player and that ruined the sysytem.

2nd PS2 was last fat PS2 model before they came out with the PS2 slim. Had no issues with it because I bought a DVD player and so my PS2 was only used to play games. After Sony stopped releasing PS2 games I learned how to soft mod my PS2 with the memory card and now I am able to play my backed up games and download games using the P2M method (Peer 2 Mail).

My most favorite PS2 game was probably Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, then when I got tired of that game it was Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefront II. I played Battlefront II online and that was a HUGE bitch cause people glitched and learned how to do the wall tricks so they would be stuck in the ceiling or the wall and shoot you through the walls.

Ugh, the same thing happened to me. Out of all of my games, for some reason it only reads the disc of 'Final Fantasy X'.

I'm not complaining, it's probably my favourite game to come out on PS2, but still, I'd love to go back and play through the 'Jak' series again.

Hey, I'm not much of a online/multiplayer gamer. I do play the odd Linux/cross platform FPS, Open Arena/Assault Cube/Quake type games though.

Did you ever play Unreal Tournament 99? It's very similar to 'Quake Live', I think you'd like it. It was one of the very first fps games I played (I'm a massive fps gamer - PC of course, console fps is ridiculous), and I still play it occasionally through Steam today. The later instalments of the Unreal Tournament series were painfully awful (but that can be said for every fps game, I suppose). It's a dying genre. The Call of Duty series has done a great job of making it all about the money, the graphics, the cut scenes and satisfying the casual gaming masses rather than focussing on decent gameplay ... oh well.

Not playing it (not my kinda game) but one of my collegues worked on it. It's quite nuts how much of it they've had to cut out due to legality issues. There was meant to be a rape investigation case involving a 10 year old girl which obviously got entirely snipped out from the game.

I was on PS3 voice chat with a friend, and he invited another guy on. The new guy claimed to be a hacker, and told us what our state and Internet providers were.

How did he get this info, and how do I prevent others from finding it?
