Bears Gay hardcore bear 'Pink Eyes'

there will always be someone who says something messed up. i mean, i saw henry rollins speak a few weeks back and he said fag at least 5 times (despite probably being in context), doesnt mean i hate black flag, his spoken word stuff or lessen my desire to get him naked.

Hahah. Shit, I use the word fag mutliple times daily. Derogatory gay terms don't really bother me at all. Especially since most people don't even use it in that context.

Hah, I had no idea there was something like "Queercore". I play in a alternative rock metal band that has a couple pretty heavy songs with low, downtuned guitars and have always had a thing for hardcore and "screamy" vocals but always felt weird for it because it really doesn't seem a very "gay" thing to be into. Good to know I'm not the only one. ;)

My latest discovery is the band "An Albatross", they're kind of like a weirder version of Mr. Bungle with a lot more Hardcore-esque vocals

Bahh. Being gay isn't an identity, it's just your sexual preference. Nothing else. It should be far from dictating how you live your life.

Yeah, I know, I'm just a bit disappointed how homophobic many rock musicians/fans are, judging from people I've met in real life and online. I don't think I'll ever let my sexual preference dictate what kind of music I like. I mean, I also like reggae a lot. :D
