Gay men: How many times did you doubt that your 100%gay?

Im just curious to how many times did you guys think that you might be turning straight or bi.

For me 3 times in my life .........I thought I might be going bi.

I never went bi. Im still 100% gay and proud.

But it did take me 4 decades to get my gay on.

Now ask me if I repressed my own desires because of some false image I perceived to be required. That took a long time to defeat.

I'm not bi, but occasionally I run into a girl that attracts me and in the moment I might question myself. But then usually that quickly dissipates when a hot guy is just around the corner.

I never doubt I'm sexual. I openly identify as gay mostly for political reasons, and because guys are what most turn me on. Hey, even my underwear has a label, why shouldn't I? But if I sleep with a woman, it's not because I don't have the balls to be openly gay - it's just because I'm horny for her, right then. Or because I'm being extra nice ;-p

That's why I voted more than 4.

It happened at least weekly, if not daily.

Sad but true.

But I'm fine. It's just a process I had to go through because of my situation combined with my personality and lack of contact with gay men. If only JUB had been around then. Or even a single out person in high school.

I didn't know that. From your posts, it sounds like you're making the best of it! Congrats!

Four decades? Wow. It took me 4 years, probably less but I don't remember any farther back than that.

For me there was NEVER any pressure from my family to be straight.

I've never put any pressure on myself to be straight.

I knew that I was gay at age seven and immeadiatly and totally embraced my homosexuality.

With that being said, there was three times in my life where I seriously doubted that I was 100% gay, I thought I might be turning out bi.

1st) time I was about 19. The attraction toward women lasted 2 days.

2nd) time I was about 25. The attraction toward women lasted one week.

3rd) time I was about 34. (Im 36 now) The attraction toward women lasted one month.

The feelings for women came just as mysteriously(out of nowhere) as they went.

I totally agree with this statement. This happens to me once in a while.

I don't think I am bisexual at all. I love men, I prefer having sex with them but if the last person on earth is a woman, I think I will survive just fine. It's just sex.

I won't be all that interested in her body but hey, a happy penis is a happy Ram.
