Re: Crazy people

^ has that poor man painted his body AND put on THREE pairs of pants? #-o :##:

[-X Marcel Proust.

You can't be as dumb as a brick can you?

Only by people who thought the guy had put on three pair of pants.

I agree. I find tattooes in general a complete turn off
I would never get involved with anyone who has spoiled his body with ink

I hate tattoos and would never get any on my body. And I don't find men with a tattoo sexy... Unless it's completely over the top and they are very inked, like a whole sleeve, or the whole chest, or the like! That gets me horny!

Here ya go...

just for the tattoo haters.

The tat tells us a little something about the person, but not nearly as much as does that cheep looking strap with the poorly mass-produced imitation buckle. :)

(*S*)

I have that Canadian eldergay on Ignore but that image has revealed this intimate message of his HIV status to us. !oops!

I think i saw Bio Hazard Tats a few times but didn't know what it meant.
Next time i'll ask is this mean you are hiv+ ?

And not nearly as much again as your post tells us about you.

Consider yourself lucky, then.

There have been times when some JUBbers have complained about other JUBbers not sharing much about themselves. :)

Re: Crazy people

Paintings on skin are dumb. They cannot speak.

That is a highly subjective opinion which is most likely just based on nothing more than socioeconomic bias. I challenge you to articulate how paintings on canvases compared to tattoos specifically are more expressive in general.
I and everyone else will interpret a lack of response as you simply not being able do it.

They're identical twin brothers. You'd have to be as blind as a brick to think otherwise.

Another subjective opinion presented as cold facts. If you ask me, apart from them both having a mustache and that all of the pictures of them are in black and white (/sepia) they share no other similarities.

The fact that you didn't even do a quick google on Tesla but instead just assumed that you were right in thinking that it was Proust and decided to lecture someone, on what was ultimately your mistake, just proves you are quicker to judge than to think.

Yes, you're right. Paintings on canvas are mute.

But most paintings on canvas have a variations of colour and texture to provide a richer message than dead needles within living, wrinkling, semi-covered flesh.

I remember and liked that avatar. I just thought it was sci-fi/geek/mutant/science nerd. I guess I'm too naive to think it could have been any type of actual warning of HIV status. I've never taken subject matter of tattoos very seriously or tried to interpret their meaning. Why would I think that one was serious while all the others are not?

Ditto. I just find even think about these things. Very naive in that regard.

While it's true that colors are more limited in tattoos you should maybe also consider that plain text, which in essence is what all or western literature is made up of, is usually just dark symbols on a lighter background.
The method alone can never define the subject.

^ Yes that is true. Letters are —as I said in post #22— less prone to misinterpretation. I believe the person on Star-Warrior's torso is Proust but he was obliged to post again saying the man on his torso was somebody else.

You might describe them as 'millionaires' but I describe them as 'intellectually poor'.

Even then, simple IQ tests would prove you wrong.

Not to mention, you just ruled scores of cultures as less intelligent on the basis of using body markings as part of their tradition. #grimshawlogic

^ have you seen the tests?

BTW: I have this memory you were considering getting your skin painted way back when I first arrived— now that's more than 4 years ago.

You didn't say that letters are less prone to misinterpretation at all. You said "Paintings on skin are dumb ... Their mute messages are prone to misinterpretation".
A lot of people get tattoos with various texts, quotes and writings.
