OK then. Anything on half-covered, wrinkling, sagging flesh is prone to misinterpretation.

And? A lot of things are prone to misinterpretation, depending on who you ask of course.
It's like a kid saying that books are dumb because he doesn't understand Shakespeare. The kid is obviously entitled to his opinion, but that doesn't mean that it's an opinion that thinking adults need to take seriously.

^ Yes, you're right. I choose to ignore that kid's ignorant opinion about Shakespeare.

Though I'm aware that kid may mature and grow into a different opinion about Shakespeare. That kid's ignorance about Shakespeare isn't permanent, while skin-painting is permanent.

Speaking of permanent, you know what else is permanent? Your ignorant comments on the internet.

^ Fair enough.

My task here is to play Cassandra and warn the ignorant from the agony of Post-Purchase-Paranoia — though in this instance, it's Post-Painting-Regret.

....And.....once again....we are all invited to watch the schoolmarm wag that finger at everyone with body ink.

No surprise that Cassandra's ravings were ignored.

Re: Crazy people

That is a highly subjective opinion which is most likely just based on nothing more than socioeconomic bias. I challenge you to articulate how paintings on canvases compared to tattoos specifically are more expressive in general.
I and everyone else will interpret a lack of response as you simply not being able do it.

Another subjective opinion presented as cold facts. If you ask me, apart from them both having a mustache and that all of the pictures of them are in black and white (/sepia) they share no other similarities.

The fact that you didn't even do a quick google on Tesla but instead just assumed that you were right in thinking that it was Proust and decided to lecture someone, on what was ultimately your mistake, just proves you are quicker to judge than to think.

Pretty much dead on. Except the thinking part after the judging part. That didn't happen.

Just to clarify my position, I have no problem with tattoos in general. But there's something too reminiscent about this tattoo, in this situation, of Hitler marking Jews with tattoos. There's something about it that find it incredibly degrading.

To me this sounds like a plot of an episode of Looking, lol.

...There's something about it that find it incredibly degrading....

Yes.

But they are SO useful for identification.

And the FBI love this digital recognition system for identifying the skin marks.

This male sex symbol has a dead pedophile on his arm.

But he has to go through the awkward routine of telling his studio photographers to NOT show it. It can only be seen in stills from TV.

Who is this speedo hunk with the cheap tats, Pat?

He's a gurgling bimbo who can't speak proper sentences.

But his mother calls him Dan Osborne. But, Zeno, be careful about turning him into your sex idol because you'll have to compete with lots of lusty, brain-dead bimbos like this one to get him—

Wow. Pat totally ruined this thread.

Ruin? You haven't even contributed to it yet.

Why don't you make a contribution about the link between men who want to be hip and out-there and practice Risky Sex and the men who want to be hip and out-there and ask needle-men to stick dead ink into their flesh.

If he'd let you. I have doubts.

 That English bimbo would spit on the line of JUB personalities hoping to violate him.
