I can clarify here as this is how I was raised.

It means that you are raised in a very religious family and are schooled at home. You go to church on Sunday, while in school you learn lots of religious bullshit like creation science, abstinence sex education, etc in addition to your other general studies.
 
I looked at the "Gay or Evangelical" series, linked at the bottom of that page. I found it hilarious that although technically, Ted Haggard is classified as "evangelical", 60-70% assigned him as "gay" on both his pictures. lol!
 
Most home students home schooled are moral and family value Christian Republicans. Guess there parente could not handle the public school system.
