Its probably one person's fantasy that he is trying to create, not necessarily a very active or established group. I've seen people try to do this sort of thing but end up with few members because no one fits the bill.

The other scenario may be that you are in an area with so many gay groups that specialty groups start to form.

Frankly, the single greatest thing about being out and open about it, is that I really do not care what the others might think about gay sex or about me being gay either.

If I really worried about what the stereotyped view of a gay guy is (Like in: he sucks dick or he takes it up his ass or whatever), I would have probably never come out and I would be married and having 2 children, and we would be all happily living behind a white picket fence, while hoping that the next pay check really comes in time and praying that the stereotypical and proverbial dental bills do not ruin our Thanksgiving dinner. (Only such dudes really get all the positive stereotyping there is.)

Fortunately, I have chosen not to depend on how other people see gay guys, regardless of the fact that I may or may not be fitting into the stereotype at hand. So, if anyone dislikes my attending yet another orgy, thinking that I am one sex-obsessed gay guy, my heart goes out to him. But, he'll have to suffer and dislike it intensely for a long time to come.

I have never thrown my sexuality into other people's faces. Even today, I see my sexuality to be largely a private matter. As such, I do not see, why should anyone be spending their time worrying about the mores and lifestyles of a group, he does not belong to and possibly has little to do with on a very personal level, in the first place.
