Its pride here in Brum in two weeks, just want to know as it will be my first time going what should I expect, I will be spending the whole day in the city centre and going to the gay bars on the night, which I have also never been to a gay bar lol. So can people just give me some info!

And is anyone else attending pride this year wherever use live?

Not my scene at all. Too crowded here in Los Angeles. Not much pride but a whole lotta greed going on.

Sadly, Jayden is right about LA pride. It's just a big commercial mess, although at least the party is pretty fun the night before and on the day of pride on Santa Monica BLVD.

SF Pride is a great time.

Toronto Pride is the best street party in the world.

Long Beach Pride is like going to a big trade show.. you pay 20 bucks to get in and then get nothing but mortgage companies, investment companies, insurance companies and those annoying time share brokers running at you asking for your phone number and email address.

ours is pretty small here, I'm actually going to go this year. It will be easy, half a block from my place.

I cant wait personally and I have heard its pretty big here, 70,000 people came last year, these next couple of weeks are going to go slow!

Our Pride here in Milwaukee is June 12th-14th. The past couple years its been very good, the entertainment lineup, once again is amazing. Unfortunately, I won't be attending this year, I gotta save my money for my vacation to TN, I'm leaving the following weekend. I've been going for the past several years anyway, I think I need to take a year off

I'll be in Fort Lauderdale for pride this year. It will be interesting to see how it is. Last year we were in Key West and had a blast.

I think I'm going to the Toronto one this year.

I don't know what I'm actually supposed to do, but I'm gonna spend the day downtown and do whatever.

Our Boston pride is nothing to talk about, so I will skip it.

I'm happy that ours here will be a block from my place. I think I'm gonna have a party for my friends at my place after to hang out and look at cute guys.

I haven't been to a pride yet. Was hoping LA/LB Prides were going to be decent! Was planning to head to SF for that one too, though.

I am trying to build up the courage to go to L.A. pride this year (it's this weekend, right?). I recently moved to LA from Smalltown USA and have never been to an event like this. I know absolutely nobody here so I have to go it alone, which makes it kind of hard too. It could be fun though...

So, is it like a street fair type thing? Do you have to pay to get in or do you just walk up and down the street?

I so hope that manhattan pride doesn't get rain on again this year.

It's so much the other cities' prides I've seen before.

The Tulsa pride is like a bit of a street fair--vendors and civic groups had booths--lots of people and kids waking around. I was only there for a little while.

Eric Himan--he's hottie.

I saw only one protester while I was there---but there were a few last year.
