Gay themed music...

I'd love to find some gay band.

I like alot of punk, rock, southern rock, some metal, and some soft rock.

But all they go on is about "I MISSED THE GIRL", "I LOVE THE GIRL", "I FUCKED THE GIRL", "I HATE THAT GIRL", "I WANT THAT GIRL"

and it's just "GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS"

What about "BOYS BOYS BOYS" or "MEN MEN MEN"

Still think that band should have been called "Boys Like Boys"

Or there should be some kind of spin off band.

I have nothing against straight people. But I'd like to hear a song about how the dude loves another dude.

But I doubt that won't happen until a few more years.

I did hear this song on the radio about some girl saying she kissed a girl and she liked it and how it felt wrong, right, or something like that.

WHY NOT WITH GUYS.

Or "I fucked a guy and I liked it. It felt wrong it felt right. It doesn't change a thing"

But actually I'd rather not promote hook ups or experimentations.

...and I'm not talking about 80s music or Lloyd Webber or Boyzone (cute and Irish as they are)...but...are there any explicitly gay singers/songs out there that are about gay love?

I don't know of any so I'd appreciate your replies.

Do you listen to Christina Aguilera? She did a song called "Beautiful" in 2002. The song has a direct message towards the gay community in saying that you are beautiful in every way and nobody can take that beauty from you. That's one of my favorite songs from Aguilera that I listen from time to time.

I thought it was targeted towards anorexic people.

And yeah Pansy Division.

But that band seems to be more of a joke band. And I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean they like to mess around. Nothing wrong with bands like that. Actually some bands like that are good. blink-182 is a good example.

Maybe I should check out that band.

I think you are right mattie.

I checked out that video you posted and I am previewing some of the stuff on iTunes.

They do seem to joke around more but that's okay.

It would be cool to hear them on the radio though.

But then again it wouldn't.

I'll have to do some more research on them and gay rock bands in general.


I bet there are some out there.

I just love rock. I WANT IT TO BE GAY TOO.

But I don't mind straight rock. I just like rock.

How do you know they are gay. Can't understand a damn word they are saying

The next one isn't too bad. But I still can't tell how it's gay from the lyrics. I can tell that the first one was gay from the nakedness and that sort of thing. but lyric wise god knows what it's about.

But the second one don't sound bad. I will start searching for some gay rock bands.

I don't really like those screamy bands even if they are straight. I sorta like nu-metal though. But depends on how you define that.

Music has too many categories and genres.

Tom Robinson is an intriguing figure.
He later went on to marry a woman and raise a family.

I didn't know that--maybe he just wanted to have kids.
