Not sure if this has been done before....possibly has but do you blame me for not wanting to go through 1000 pages to find it??

Anyway, I want specifically any songs written about gay people, relationships etc. Its gotta be gay themed....dont be posting any old Cher or Madonna song, homo's.

I'll start us off with one about a father coming out to his daughter:

In Denial - Pet Shop Boys featuring Kylie Minogue

Pansy Division comes to mind.

They do pretty much everything about gay life and relationships. And fortunately most of it is about sex :D

David Bowie Moonage Daydream, Lady Stardust and Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud. Those are the only ones from David Bowie i can think of.

There aren't that many :( but Lady Gaga has some. Every Elton John and Clay Aiken song is really made about a guy though :)

the last guy singing about being a happy gay is so good looking ,is he gay?
well in italy, tiziano ferro with this song "ti voglio bene".it is clearly gay because he is talking about another man that he loves.

OK -- we're now tuning to the oldies station:

This one's a classic, but maybe it's technically more about transgendered individuals?

This one, I've always been convinced is about a gay affair gone bad, because of the line "Well boy you sure took me for one big ride"...

And a couple if you're feeling suicidal and need something to push you over the edge:

Also a lot of Cole Porter and Noel Coward lyrics have coded gay references. Like in Mad about the Boy, although accounts differ as to whether Noel Coward ever actually sang it himself.

Or maybe Cole Porter's "and if baby I'm the bottom, you're the top". Do you think?

And this one I've always just loved, call me a sentimental fool :luv:

Plus I think we can all agree that he hits the nail on the head in his intro...
