Gay Wingmen for Straight Guys

Do any of you guys play wingman for your straight guys when you go out?

A lot of straight guys I know think gay guys make the best wingmen, and really, I guess it makes sense. What do you guys think? What are the best ways to help your straight friends score?

First of all, you have the obviously gay wingman. Women seem to be less intimidated by gay guys, so it's easier to meet a large group of women. Then, the guy talks up his buddy among the women and encourages the "target" to chase after the friend while giving his buddy insight on the chick based on what her friends say.

Next you have the straight acting gay wingman. This guy hits on the "target" for his friend until she's interested. Then, he includes the buddy in the conversations. Finally, he casually rejects the women and leaves for awhile. Usually, it pisses her off and she'll go after the friend to get even when he comes back. It's an asshole thing to do, but it works well.

I'm the worst wingman ever, when me and my friends go out, I somehow accidentally get the girl instead of getting them the girl. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I usually go up and introduce myself and give a little info about my friend(s), but the girl always ends up askin for my info, then one thing leads to another and sometimes my friends are watching me from afar as I score a potential lay. Most of the time I try and get out of it though because me and my friends have different taste in women.

Mhmm. I bet that plays out real well.

And yes, I did. I was kind of like his doorman. I'd weed out the losers from the decent ones he could have a future with, and then with two separate groups like that, it was easier for him to date the losers.

^Oh dude you are so right. One of my friends totally used the "Oh when he was coming out, I was so supportive of him" line while hitting on a girl... man, that kind of pissed me off. I'd totally cockblock that shit if I heard it again.

Being the gay wingman is really easy, you have no idea how many times Ive made my friend's nights because I went up to a girl they thought was attractive and told them I was the gay best friend of a guy who's best friend is gay (and how much that says about him and what kindof guy he is). The girls are always down with the 'mos. One good reference and then, like if on queue, they're dropping their panties.
