For people saying "Well all religions have it's flaws", it's still possible for a religion to be completely fucked up. Religion is made up, they can't all be true at the same time.

Actually all religions are interelated and they all pretty sprang from each other. This is why Abraham was told he would be the father of many nations. Abraham is the father of Judaism, Islam and later Christianity.

Buddhism is not peaceful not has it bee. Have you not heard of the sect wars that took place? Perhaps you should look into it. Look into the sects of the red hats and yellow hats. Buddhism indeed has fought wars for control of power. And this ever so holier than thou faith that is Buddhism, has also used manipulation in order to gain control. For example during the take over of Mongolia into China. The reincarnation of Buddha was coincidentally enough being born on Mongolian thrones in order to subdue the Chinese masses into who the heavenly rulers were.

Atheism? Stalinist Russia was atheistic. And so have many Communist regimes. Actually Vietnam comes to mind. Communist and Buddhist. It was still bombed with great conviction wasn't it? And many veterans wouldn't call those Buddhist guerrillas very peaceful would they?

And contemporary Buddhism is just as full of shit now as it was then. There’s the Dalai Lama venturing into the White House knowing full well the toxicity in the White House. Knowing full well all of the deaths that the White has been responsible for just in the 6 years alone. No, it doesn’t stop this opportunistic enlightened being from prancing around in his little humble dress code. Talk to me about Tibet while being oblivious to Iraq? Bullshit.

And Burma? Let’s talk about Burma. Where the monks have been allied with the Junta only till recently and that’s because the Junta no longer feared the monks. Now the monks have begun sensing a problem, but they hadn’t before.

Buddhism is just as stupid as any of the others. Just as hypocritical, and just as dirty.

I guess you have to show some respect to what other people believe in , i dont want to lecture anybody here , but most of the crimes and offends between people in any society happened because those criminals dont believe in what religions (Christian/Islam/Judith) forbid or prohibit , and if they believe in god punishment or any other moral advices (in how we have to treat each other) in any of the mentioned religions ..then they wont kill/rape/steal/offend/hurt , etc any at all .
