That's the same thing she's doing, she just does it in a more eloquent, 'respectable' way. C'mon, let's not be like her.

Don't know that I'd characterize her as "eloquent".

I must say that while normally this kind of crap just rolls right past me, this one is getting to me for some reason. I've been stewing over this all evening.

I keep remembering that great line from Queer As Folk -The world is divided into two types of people: those that hate you behind your back and those that hate you to your face.

That always seemed so cynical, but that woman's little tirade just makes it seem a little close to home.

The sad thing is that she could well be quite a nice person - loved by her family and kind to her friends etc.

I know its a cliche - Evil people do Evil deeds - for good people to do Evil you need Religion.

I wish you could've met my mom. Maybe she could've guided you in how a real Christian should be acting and speaking.

You may just see me as a kid, but let me try to teach you something. The old saying is sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you. Well, your words hurt me. Your words disrespected the memory of my mom. Your words can cause others to pick up sticks and stones and hurt others.

If this politician ever got to know your story - maybe she would realise how evil and un-Christian her words were.

In the meantime the sad truth is that she'll probably get more "Christian" votes because of her outburst
