GayYU is Right lol!

I'm glad that it sounds like you are going to have a great time at college mate... and if the real you is only half as positive, insightful and caring as you are here, then you'll be surrounded by friends - and more if you chose - in no time!

I hope it goes really well for you Volcom! Good luck!

So I took a tour of NYU (yay just sent in my deposit yesterday. I am soooooo excited to go to NYU next year.) When they call it GayYU, they really aren't joking. I saw lots of scarfed men.

Anyway on the tour there was this relatively attractive guy in our tour group (I picked the group with the two hottest guys, shame on me) and he kept looking really awkwardly at me. I thought he was just some strange kid. He was from some random small town in the Midwest. However, when he walked in front of me, I noticed designer jeans (Sevens) and designer shoes…

For the rest of the tour we eye flirted. I would have done more, but his father and my father were both in the tour group. Being that I don’t know if he is out or not, I didn’t want to provoke any trouble.

Then at the NYU bookstore, this guy came up to me and we started talking. He was from San Diego as well, which was our only neutral ground. My gaydar was going insane the entire time he was there.

I just thought it was a funny story.

Sounds like a hot story! But man the city is a HUGE change from cali. BTW did you get his name or number so you have a hot friend when you start there?

After you get settled in stop by any of the little shops on Christopher Street and pick up a free copy of H/X magazine. There, you will find all the gay listings for clubs, bars & nightlife (updated weekly). The East village is a bit trendier with lots of great shopping and the West village is really the gay mecca. You will be in between both. Check out www.hx.com and you can also look at www.queenofnewyork.com !

No, I didin't. I figure though with 25% or so of the schools population being gay guys, I should be ok. There are plenty of fish in the sea, right?

But ya. NYC is a huge difference, but I think I am ready for change. College is the best way to find out about yourself and a new enviroment will help stimulate the process.

im 45 mins away if i take mta to grand central, and i might be going to msg tonight for a show so maybe i will...

Hi Blueboy369 ... I was wondering if u have ever been to a Johnny McGovern (gaypimp.com) show and if u have then what was it like ?

Yes I have. I loved it. I saw his show "The Gay Pimp" at The Zipper Theater a few years back. It was campy, sexy and cute! Lots of fun.
