Then at the NYU bookstore, this guy came up to me and we started talking. He was from San Diego as well, which was our only neutral ground. My gaydar was going insane the entire time he was there.

I just thought it was a funny story.

Sounds like a hot story! But man the city is a HUGE change from cali. BTW did you get his name or number so you have a hot friend when you start there?
 
After you get settled in stop by any of the little shops on Christopher Street and pick up a free copy of H/X magazine. There, you will find all the gay listings for clubs, bars & nightlife (updated weekly). The East village is a bit trendier with lots of great shopping and the West village is really the gay mecca. Yes I have. I loved it. I saw his show "The Gay Pimp" at The Zipper Theater a few years back. It was campy, sexy and cute! Lots of fun.
