Another talented, creative, artist gone.

He had a great voice. His seemingly effortlessly perfect performance of Queen's 'Somebody to Love' at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert proved just what a truly great singer he was.

ALSO... instead of disappearing in humiliation after being outed, he met it head-on and became one of the first gay A-list stars.

I was so lucky to have seen him live back in the day. We drove to Rupp Arena in Kentucky to see him. Wow. Stunning performance. I don't ever remember him touring in the USA after that year. I'm so glad I didn't pass that up. I still can't believe he's gone. I'm gonna watch my bluray copy of the Live In Lonndon concert and cry myself to sleep
