Actually, I don't really care about the husband that went rogue or got lost or whatever.....what I really admire is that all day on the news media....the reports about the missing husband of the (one time) second most powerful political person in the province of Ontario, Canada....actually addressed the fact that the missing man was the husband of George Smitherman...the man that should have been the mayor of Toronto!

I'm glad it turned out well for George and Christopher...but what made my heart full was that there was no hesitation in describing the missing man as the husband of the openly homo Smitherman.

Hopefully soneday, all across the US and the world....the idea of a man having a husband will be no big thing at all....

I'm glad he was found, but I suspect some 'difficult times' in their marriage, both in the past and in the future.

Husband will probably beat the smither(eens) out of him.

Will leave him a man!

@frankfrank, topping you!

(NOTE: 2 funnies; 1 thread)

I think Chris is diabetic. He may have had a hypo glucose reaction. Either way I'm so glad he is found and safe. And yeah, I thought it was pretty cool that they spoke of him as just a husband and father, no big gay blather.

I love it anytime someone makes being gay a non issue...I love it even more when it is the media. Nice!...hope to see this happen more as time goes along....

(Did they ever figure out what he was doing curled up in a ball?)

I don't think he would have had a hypo. With a low blood sugar, you can become unconcious quickly, rather than wandering around.

Besides, if you're a diabetic, you're already supposed to have a snack, boiled sweets or some glucose close to hand as a precaution. They would know their symptoms and go for the instant energy boost to tide them over.

A Toronto Life profile said the couple had a lengthy on again off again relationship before settling down. He said yesterday “the path forward isn’t firmly clear, except that we know that it’s long and that it will be hard,

I reckon men should have a five-year engagement before signing Pre-Nups etc.
