As expected, his ignorance is too much to overcome. He twists figures and doesn't cite facts for his argument. Just more of the same of the GOP talking points. This isn't about "Giancarloland". This is about GOP Chance land. He'll cite anything bad (he can make up or distort) to bring down Obama because his own candidate doesn't stand much of a chance.
He relies on extremely emotional and politically tainted arguments.
In GiancarloLand, people who exited the workforce (not a good thing) aren't as important as people who entered
In GiancarloLand, the deficit, which has risen $5 trillion on Pres. Obama's watch, is just a # to be ignored or blamed on predecessors
As of January 2009 (Obama enters the WH) the publicly held debt was $6.31 trillion and the gross debt was $10.63 trillion. As of May 14, 2012, the publicly held debt was $10.92 trillion and the gross debt was $15.68 trillion.
So, the publicly held debt has grown by $4.61 trillion, and the gross debt has grown by $5.05 trillion.
In GiancarloLand, rising gas prices are not problematic - people can just drive less or not go to work which isn't such a problem because unemployment is so high
I wish people exiting the workplace was a fraction of those entering
I wish gas prices were lower
I wish the debt was manageable
The President needs to do better
Reasonable people understand that
The first step is take the head out of the sand
