I agree with The Young Turks. They are foolish to play that hand, and should be thankful that both Trump and Giuliani are in self-destruct mode.

Unfortunately, I also agree with Michael Moore that Biden is a losing ticket for the left because he is center. The GOP will vote for Putin before voting for a Democrat (except in Alabama, for the record), but the left isn't going to get fired up about a faltering centrist. That was fatal for Clinton and will be for Biden.

We need a firebrand. He or she can talk fire and play center, but Biden's not doing that.

It's because Biden is trying to play by old rules. He was always a decent guy and he didn't like to play dirty. The rules have changed. If he were smart, he would change the subject because any discussion of Hunter Biden just gives credibility to the false stories. He needs to have pro-Democratic PACs run commercials talking about Trump children's dirty dealings and the daily Trump lies. As we get into the impeachment findings, those need to be in daily commercials.

The Republicans have gotten $125 million in donations from the people who don't want the 2017 tax cut for the rich undone. That's a lot of money to run dirty commercials like the one that is in post #4.

And Fox. Sarah HuckaBS Sanders has taken her big bag o' lies to Fox where she's doing what she did on the government payroll, only this time she's being paid a lot more money to do it on the evening lineup on StateTV. To the rational, it looks like a bunch of looney people saying looney things; however, to the voters who are also looney, the conspiracy theories fit nicely with their looney view of the world.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. Let Giuliani talk but fact check him, in real-time if possible. Of course, we know fact checking doesn't happen on the F-word network but everyone else will see the fool.

As you watch Trump’s defenders lie, deflect, and distract today and in the coming weeks, remember that they don’t care about being caught in obvious lies. Calling bullshit still means you’re talking about the bullshit, not the facts.

This is part of the “flood not dam” model. They want doubt. They can make up a dozen new lies and new distractions every day while there’s only one truth. Stop chasing them and keep repeating the facts.

Many thought it strange when Putin’s propaganda released many different “refutations” after Russian forces shot down MH17, some even on the same day. But they want to distract, not refute. To make it seem like the truth isn’t knowable.

They’ll attack the truth-tellers, accuse them of anything at all, because playing defense takes energy. They’ll use whataboutism to distract from their crimes. Keep following the money and repeating the truth.

Guiliani's outrageous statements detract from Trump's. Trump keeps making more and more outrageous claims every day....amping up the noise so that every performance drowns out the one from about an hour ago and keeps everyone confused and distracted.

Spewing propaganda and opinion until the facts are no longer the focus of the story.

It took me way too long to figure out there is a huge difference between a liberal and a leftist (often disguised by calling themselves "progressives"). Liberals are open-minded and want to hear both sides of an argument. The far left which sadly now includes most of the Democrat party and most of the media (they should call themselves the Democrat Party News) are the most intolerant and closed-minded people I have ever met. They have no intention of hearing what the other side has to say and rather want to shut them up and shout them down.

Bet you don't have any problem with the religious right literally trying to remove the freedom and rights of anyone for not agreeing with their interpretation of bronze age texts.

Bet you didn't complain when MBS had Kashoggi killed for criticizing Trump and the Sauds.

Don't preach at us about intolerance....the biggest difference may be that with the far right, ruthless suppression and cruelty is the point.
