That's the breadth of his reach. He's had numerous stories about beating up famous girlfriends damn-near wiped clean from the internet except a few obscure gossip blogs. Pictures of him in compromising positions with men have been circulating for years, he barely hides the homosexuality but he's such an industry titan that nobody in the media brings it up.

Obviously his sexuality isn't the problem so much as the violence and grooming.

Here he is on a podcast where the whole premise is everybody's getting drunk, he makes another rapper visibly uncomfortable literally begging him to "come party with him some time." He barely hides his forceful, coercive tactics.

The first red flag was the number of artists he cycled through. Dozens and dozens of solo artists and groups rose and fell under his watch, he got rich, they faded into obscurity. Even before the rxpe and domestic violence he was very obviously a selfish, troubled man. You could make a whole music channel just playing artists that he exploited.

He’s done to so many what Russell and Bam did to him and the cycle continues. Everyone knows that the entire hip hop community shares the same strain of herpes - Jay Z to Drake to Usher - and it all started with Diddy “the gay rapper” and shyne/mase/cameron who were all basically given no choice but to participate in the sex/power dynamic. Like R Kelly, he seems to have enjoyed making others do things that they weren’t comfortable doing rather than being all up in the mix. Of course there’s that side too but all of this is simply the result of the extensive external -and in these cases usually also internalized - homophobia in the black and hip hop communities. I could speak for hours on the subject but it boils down to hurt people hurt people and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Shame too cause Im sure I’m not the only one who would have given it to them with no issues - but that’s not what it was really about
