Somehow, I managed to break my arm while water skiing for the first time. Have never tried it since! :lol:

I've been on the planet so long, that I really can't distill my answer to ONE moment. Nor am I sure exactly how to answer in the first place ...

I've withdrawn from, or purposely screwed up in, "competition" so someone else could "win".

I've loaned (given) time and resources to friends in need (though I couldn't really "afford" it), without any expectation of repayment, and Never brought it up again.

I've bypassed "opportunities" because of the "expectations" they would have cost me later. (Taking advantage of knowing the "right" people is not always an "advantage".)

I was raised to be mindful that my OWN desires/hopes were not necessarily in the interest of the "Overall Good". And, I do not regret that.

I've spent around $80 on a Dress Shirt, I think.
I see Hickey-Freeman e-mails for $150-$200+ POLO shirts and just shake my head.
