"Getting to know you...

All depends on what I'm eating.

I do enjoy a baked -"real" baked with crunchy skin - split open w/ some Sour Cream.
Zapped will work, too.
As will the salt boiled - or cut up and boiled - fork mashed if we're having creamed codfish gravy.
Or fried pork chops with milk gravy over fork or regular mashed potatoes.

Mashed with lots of butter and some milk
I like good home fries, nicely browned with onions - but the new med (Vyctoza) is making "grease" less edible as of late.
It tends to give indigestion.

What about you?

Love baked. When I fill the need to go unhealthy I will quarter up potatoes and put them in a dish throw in a couple sticks of butter and add garlic salt and pepper then bake till done.

Do you like meatloaf and how do you prepare?

Do you like meatloaf and how do you prepare?

Well ... first I'll get some silverware, and a paper towel for a napkin. Then, I'll grab a plate, and a bottle of ketchup ... \:/

Can't wait to try your recipe for taters! (I'll be sure to show that to "My" Kev the chef.) Sounds like those would taste Great with his meatloaf!

What is your tolerance for "wise guys"? :slap:

Keep smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

Well, I loved The Sopranos

Have you ever jacked off at a urinal?

No and No. Toilet stall is a different situation, however.

As for wise guys - depends on the perp - we love you Chaz.

We have a couple three variations on Meatloaf -
The most popular is ketchup based - ground beef (MOST of the time we have 90%+ Fat Free very lean), seasoned bread crumbs, some olive oil to augment the lean beef, egg or two, ketchup, minced onion, garlic, s&p, etc.

We also have a Cream of Mushroom variant or two - basic is just swapping the soup for ketchup.
The more exotic is a simulated Swiss Steak variety. Prep w/ mushroom soup, put in loaf pan, refrigerate overnight.
Next day, slice and brown in frying pan, re-pack w/ more soup and bake to finish.

To die for.

Do you have recipes for Jambalaya or Paella?

Hi, Silver Wolf. I enjoyed most of my classes - math probably the most.

Still my question above.

No and no

I've never had jambalaya and paella I buy ready made at Marks & Spencer, which has a great food court. I tend to use the internet to find recipes I'd like to try. On the whole in this house the food is plain unless I do the cooking.

Any recipes for Irish soda bread? (apart from bicarbonate of soda, salt, plain flower and butter milk, mine includes some honey and rolled oats)

Not since 2006.

I quit for 10+ years until '95-'96 ish, smoked before and after that, then quite in 2006 for good.
My daughter has a recipe for Irish Soda Bread, but no raisins or other dried fruit in it - some people are picky - not me!

Do you follow recipes closely, or use them more as a guide, and jump off from there to explore the possibilities?

If I do not like one of the ingredients I will change it or eliminate it completely. I will follow all measurements to the exact.

Have you ever made a cake from scratch?(that includes the frosting)

That's the ONLY way we make cakes - Angel food excepted.

We have a few favorites that get made regularly.
I do more of the quick breads and meat/potato cooking, while my wife and kids do the cakes most of the time, but I've made cakes from scratch, too.

I have made cakes from scrtach before. Not the icing though. My mom knows how. I love the lemon cakes she makes with a more glaze style icing.

What do you plan on cooking/eating tonight?

I grilled Beef Tenderloin, zapped some baked potatoes.

We do frosting more than Icing - ButterCream - butter/margarine, confectioner's sugar (10x), a little vanilla, milk - add cocoa if you want chocolate, some coffee with the chocolate if you want mocha.

Icing tends to be sugar and some water - and vanilla, etc.

so since the person above me didn't ask for a question, let's start again.

What's your favorite piece of clothing?

yes.. men in suit/shirt and the whole office look, I found em undeniably sexy! LOL

are you allergic to something?
