I have flown twice in my life to a vacation spot and that was before i moved where i am currently living, but it is about 50min by car to an intra-european one and 1 hour and 20 min to two international ones.

What is your favourite way to go on vacation?
 
I have to say Denmark, it is my souls home. it is neither spectacular nor great, but is is peace and acceptance and hygge (a danish word that is untranslatable to most languages it is usually translated as Coziness into english but it means a lot more, something like: being in the here and now with people that you love to be around or all on your own and being fully content with the situation, so it can be in front of a fire, alone sunbathing in the dunes or playing volleyball with good friends)

I also was once scuba-diving on the Maldives, which was spectacular and overwhelming and full of great moments and things to remember a lifetime, but it is still only second place.

What about you, what was your best vacation ever?
 
I'll say my visit to Mérida (in Southern Spain) in 2017.

Yes , unfortunately , there are many obstacles to overcome if I want to have a weekend getaway ... I hope I can make it

Probably right where I am now, but slowing down a bit.

A couple of times. The first was when I went off to university. I also moved to Birmingham with my work about 10 years ago.

I have no living close relatives, and my cousins are scattered across the United States. When they were alive, my parents, grandmother, an aunt and uncle, and a cousin all lived nearby.
