I take a bus to and from work every day. I drive to a transit station which is 5 minutes from home and then a 25 minute bus ride downtown. Its convenient, reasonable ($70/month) and saves wear and tear on my car - not to mention $20/day parking in our downtown core

Looking back to five years ago... are you doing better or worse than you hoped to be today?
 
Actually a lot better than I had expected. I could retire today if I wanted to, but have decided after having this year off, that I should work till I am 65, then I will be able to travel a lot, and have a summer and winter home.


How are y ou doing these days?
 
I'm doing good. My work life has settled down (less stress) and I'm able to relax so much more. Winter seems to have set in a bit early this year and I'm enjoying it as well - great excuse to wear the new sweaters I bought last week

Will you put up Christmas lights this year?
 
I will not put any up this year. My two grandsons will not be here, so not much spirit here alone. I may go to Vegas that week.

Do you decorate for Christmas?
 
Yes, we put up lights outside and a big star above the garage door. Inside the entire main floor gets decorated. Its just the two of us but we love it - and I kind of like a little frolic under the tree. Nothing like a festive slap 'n tickle!!!

Does it really feel like Christmas to you without snow?
 
Most of the time we have no snow until after Christmas. I prefer having the snow.
