I will watch TV shows on DVDs from the library (often older TV shows), but I almost never watch actual TV. And I tend to be selective with what DVDs I get. Not all TV is bad, but there is so much bad TV, which makes me think Fred Allen (comedian) had a point when he said: "Television is a device that permits people who haven't anything to do to watch people who can't do anything."

Do you read many books?
 
No, I'm becoming very selective. I haven't read any this year so far.

Do you read magazines or newspapers? I do. I like buying foreign magazines in different languages.
