My mom would pop me with her comb every now and again for talking back (or "getting smart" as we say in the black community), but I don't remember being spanked with a belt or anything. My dad spanked me with his hand for smearing Jell-o on the wall when I was three, but I have no memory of it.

I got a lot of them when I was younger, but none once I left elementary school. I doubt that I'd spank my kids, though. But, I doubt that I'll ever have kids, so...
