Yes, but not until a week or so after the first week of December and it's a small tree on my fireplace.

People not paying attention to what they read. (Double that when it's a writer writing about something ze read.)

People (especially journalists) referring to "the Sea Islands off the coast of South Carolina." (Okay, or Georgia.) They aren't off the coast; they are the coast.
There's nothing between the Sea Islands and the mainland but rivers or creeks and a lot of salt marsh, and sometimes the Intracoastal Waterway.

People using literally to mean a particularly intense version of figuratively or metaphorically.

What kind of socks do you wear daily ?
 
Basic "run of the mill" white socks.

How many pairs of shoes do you own?
 
Three pairs of sandals and three pairs of regular shoes, though I only regularly wear two of each.

How many salt shakers do you own?
 
Currently, only two. :confused: My second favorite (after the one in my avatar, which was in my family before I was) was a big one with handles you could squeeze; it would grind a lot of pepper quickly. But Joey, who loved to throw lots of things from the kitchen counter onto the floor, threw that one down and it broke. As a replacement I could only find a little version that barely works at all, so I tossed it. I should probably get a little electric spice grinder; I'll add it to my birthday list.

I can cook , I was doing it often last year
but currently I ain't cooking , ocassionally I make omelettes for my mom before she goes to work

I keep my hair cut very short. Just got a haircut yesterday.

Usually, yes.
