"Getting to know you...

No, I don't have a tuxedo, as I never attend events that require one. I didn't even go to my high school prom, which required the wearing of a tuxedo. The rental of one was outrageous even back in 1976, like the equivalent of one month's rent or something like that. Plus, being a closeted gay kid, I was not about to ask some girl to go with me. I never even heard the idea of going stag ever mentioned, so I had no clue that was even a possibility. It's probably just as well, as I doubt that I would have enjoyed myself there.

Have you ever had your emails or certain websites blocked for "security" reasons (It's happening to me right now)?

At work, some categories of internet site are blocked for various reasons, but I don't have that issue at home.

What was the last thing you saw at the theatre?

Drag queens performing. (You said the last thing I saw, you didn't specify a movie or play.)

What is the farthest you've ever been from home? Was it for pleasure or for other reasons?

The farthest I've been from home is the capital city which is a 7 hour bus ride , I've travelled there several times in the former decade ....It was mainly for pleasure

Have you ever felt " love-struck" by a man you couldn't have ?

Yes I do, if my johns desire it. I wear military, police, fireman, UPS or FedEx delivery worker uniforms, etc.

Gotcha!

Actually, I'm retired. The only uniform I ever wore at work was a company shirt when I delivered for Domino's Pizza back in the 1980s.

Have you ever met a famous person whose words, attitude, or behavior turned you off?

Well , it was a German Band I met in 2009 , the lead singer had an o.k attitude , the other members seemed snobbish}

What type(s) of men do you like ? Could you be specific ?

Looks-wise, I tend to prefer young college-type young men or guys in their 20s. But I find their lack of maturity tends to be a turnoff. I'm finding that it's more important for a man to have a soul-- kind, empathetic, intelligent, curious, respectful, and having an appropriate amount of humility.

Do you have an interest in spiritual matters, or engage in a spiritual practice, whether it is a religion or simply private practice, like meditation?

That's a tricky question, since I'm an organist. I go to church every sunday and other days as part of my job.
If I wasn't doing this job I would still be going, but probably not every week.

What are you reading right now?

I'm re-reading Journey of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton, PhD, which might have been the impetus for my spirituality question. Actually I read it for the first time at the suggestion of another JUBBER. You've probably heard of past-life regression, where subjects are hypnotically regressed and recall supposed past lives. This is what Dr. Newton did, but he regressed his patients to the periods when they existed in spiritual realms BETWEEN lives (you have to accept his premise that we are all serially reincarnating for this to hold together). It's certainly a fascinating read, and fantastic if it's true.

Yes, I go to MCC. It is the "gay" church, and I figure it's going to be needed for our LGBTQ+ friends as long as they come out of homophobic religions. Personally, I'd prefer an approach such as the Unitarian Universalists, that look at spirituality as a matter of the mind and intellect, and not so much one of theology, dogma, or even belief (there are Unitarian Universalist atheists).

Do you spend most of your time alone? What do you do with your alone time?

Probably not. Work, time with my boyfriend and time with my mother take up most of the week.

Do you have a pension plan?
