I do. I was looking at new bookshelves a few days ago as I need more.

Do you have items in your home inherited from your ancestors?
 
Indeed I do. In fact, probably most of my current possessions I inherited from my parents. From the house itself, to many of the items, such as the furniture, and lots of crap like numerous old bills and letters (they were pack rats) that I'm still going through and shredding (the bills, that is), not to mention possessions and paperwork they kept from their parents, etc. From this experience I've learned that one of the worst things that parents can do to their children is to leave all their possessions, junk, etc. They could have done me a big favor and at least have gotten rid of all the things like old bills that there's no need to keep anymore.

Did you have to get rid of a good number of items your parents or other relatives left for you?
 
Not yet, but I can see this happening in the future.

Do you have any piece of furniture you're particularly attached to? For whatever reason.
 
I get attached to items easily because they take me into back to the past daydreaming trips ...

About furniture ... hmmm well I am attached to actual wood sofas , a round desk , " corner shelves " , and a chest of drawers that are 26 years old , they all were made by a good carpenter ...
