I tend to "whine" a bit,but I'm not really into alcoholic beverages,wine included.

I'm not sure I can decide on a Favorite wine! I've been fortunate to have sampled quite a few! ..| I'm also interested in experiencing the numerous varieties of nearly Everything ... from Scotches to Honey! It doesn't have to be alcoholic to have interesting "levels" of sensation! :D

Even the tastes of different tomatoes can be fascinating! Or ... the touch of various oils ... or, even the scents of burning candles! And let's not even get me started on the sensations of playing with other's bodies!! :badgrin:

Actually, I do like to drive long distances because I love audio books. I commuted for all of my professional life and listened to many more books than I would have ever read - and titles that I would never have picked up like something by Faulkner!

Do you listen to audio books?
 
When I make long drives, I have found listening to audio books is a good way to pass the time and get to some reading that I often put off. Lengthy books are great because there is no way I would otherwise stick to them and finish.

Do you prefer long drives, quick flights, or fast trains?
 
quick flight anyday. Although I do enjoy the 6 hour drive to Montreal through the mountains.

Do you like to stop several times on a long drive?
 
I prefer to have someone with me; you can always switch drivers that way and take a rest although I usually can go for pretty long distances.....

Is it difficult driving in DC traffic?
 
Once you get used to driving in DC it isn't bad. The biggest problem is that you have the grid pattern that was overlaid with the diagonal streets, throw in some traffic circles and then close off a bunch of roads because of security concerns. The result can be a problem but once you get used to it, it's not too bad.

Looking at driving in DC?
 
Not really, but may rent a car and drive to N. C. before coming back home.


You like taking trains?
 
Well, I usually love the train...mainly the Acela train that goes north. I took one a few weeks ago to Richmond and it was soooooo late I could have just about walked. We got held up in Quantico because the train ahead of us was carrying hazardous cargo that they thought had sprung a leak! I could have just walked into Quantico and at least would have been able to get home easier than the train took.

But trains usually are relaxing; you have to get there 20 minutes before they leave; Union Station is really cool and beautiful....

And I drive a 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible, silver with black top....want a ride?

Do you get aggravated in traffic?
 
I don't watch many anymore....used to love the Match game or Jeapardy
