"Getting to know you...

Seeing as though I'm in the UK we're not going to have the new Desperate Housewives, Lost or 24 for a while yet! So, I'm hating TV at the moment lol

How bout you?
 
I have a new 37" HD TV, which was a waste of money, cause most of the new TV shows this season suck. I watch about 6 programs all week and the rest of the time the tv is off. It is mostly sports, game shows, comedies and reality shows, which I hage immensely.

Do you watch mutch TV at all?
 
I have gotten sick of ER, but have worked in one too long I think. Lost is good, as is CSI, and Prison Break with Wentworth Miller.


Do you ever rent DVD movies?
 
I have a subscription to Netflix. I watch a fair amount of movies, but surprisingly, I also rent several TV series: Footballers' Wives, Dawson's Creek, NewsRadio, Freaks and Geeks. From the first episode, I've watched Lost as it airs. However, I wish I had the patience to wait for an entire season to come out on DVD--I think I would enjoy it more if I didn't have to endure the suspense. (Also, season 2 opened with lots of episodes that went nowhere--I would have preferred to be able to have a new episode waiting.)

Name a movie you have rented so many times that you now realize you should have just bought it.
 
I never watch a movie more than once, it gets boring.

Do you like watching movied repeatedly?
 
My favourite film(s) is the Back to the Future Trilogy!

Definitely plan to splash some DNA around. Boyfriend is arriving home around 8pm--I plan a candlelit massage for him. I do the full body workup--usually just over an hour and then we get a little dirtier.

Hardwood.......took our my 20 year old carpeting last summer. Had the hardwood redone, and it is beautiful.

How do you care for your hardwood floors?
 
Mostly sweeping them with a special dry mop, but occasionally I go all out and use floor polish.

My walls are bare right now. I just re-did the entire house now looking for artwork for the walls and nothing has hit me yet.

I've got a landscape portrait of the forest. Probably came from a flea market.

How often to you clean your floors? I only vacuum once a week :/
 
I dry mop them at least every other day, and clean/wax them when needed.


Do you ever wish you had a maid?
 
I have one named Elsa. When she's sick, a burlier fellow named Fritz takes over. Unfortunately, they are both imaginary--very real to me but they get very little done.
