Will you be doing anything charitable this Christmas season?
 
I've donated money to "Toys for Teens"; made a donation somewhere else (can't recall where).

My Church does this thing every year where the parishoners can take little cards and buy the presents requested on it; the item is returned to the Church and is delivered to the appropriate person--it's kind of nice because you get a specific thing (mine is a woman's winter coat) and the Church delivers it to the requester. It's sad to see some of the little cards; my cousin got one last year- a pair of green sweatpants for a 12-year-old boy...

Do you go all-out for the holidays (over-the-top presents, decorations, etc)?
 
inspite of the fact that christmas is not widely celebrated in japan, i turned out to be a christmas freak which i attribute to my christian upbringing and years of living overseas during childhood. i enjoy decorating the house and stowing away the decors carefully. as early as mid-october, i am usually planning my christmas list. overseas presents are mailed as early as mid-november. when it comes to christmas and birthdays, i go all the way.

what was the most treasured christmas present you ever received?
 
A new car from my dad. It was a 1968 Chevette 396 SS
