I have the same periods where all I want to do it cry. I could watch Jerry Springer and feel like crying because some tramp got cheated on.

My emotions come from my feeling extremely lonely at times. These periods usually last about a week or two and then miraculously I'm fine the next week.

I would say that you should see someone if you feel bad for an extended period of time or you consider hurting yourself (just put in there as a disclaimer).

Good luck and keep us updated.

Same here. I get the same way for almost no reason and it's like anything can set me off. Maybe it's just a lot of hormones in your system.

No offence - and please don't take this the wrong way because it may be just what I have seen (and, hell, I don't see everything), but some of your recent posting appears to have been waaay more - urrmm - "agitated" than I recall having seen from you before.

Is this just because they have been subjects about which you feel particularly strongly - or is there something else happening in your life that could be making you feel more emotionally "raw"?

I don't know - just wondering if there could be some connection.(*8*)

Yeah. I get a little emotional lately too. A few day ago I was watching an episode of Summerland at youtube and suddenly i found my self in tears. Good thing no ones home.

I get that way too, sometimes. I go through phases where just about anything can make me cry.

I hate it :(

I don't know about everybody else here, but I find a huge connection between the emotional and physical. Every time just before I come down with a cold/sickness, I become emotionally volatile. A few days later, I end up sick and realize it probably started back when I was emo. Just my personal observations. May or may not have anything to do with your particular situation. But if you end up sick in a couple of days, I'd say there's a good chance it was that.

I too have this problem. There are some days I will just cry my eyes out, and then I am fine.

My sister does the same thing. She calls it her "s-day".

i think it's just normal... i'm sure EVERYBODY goes thru it... even straight guys... who probably weep in their rooms all alone at night... lmao

idk but yeah... i think guys go thru something hormonal as well as girls in terms of period cycles and whatever....

i kno every few weeks or so i have a craving for chocolate-- which i usually dispise!!

i'm sure it's nothing to worry about... tho if it does happen for a prolonged period (as others said) seek some help.... could be depression

It doesn't sound serious but you should go and see a doctor if you feel its a really big problem.

However if your appetitie/sleep patterns have changed recently and you feel emotional/sad all the time then you probably should go and see a doctor.

Whoa I was just thinking about this.
I work in a restaurant, so when this server comes around the corner saying she just rea;ised the little girl on table 46 was missing an arm I started crying. Yes, tears, not sobs. It felt so strange, and for the rest of the day, when the little girl was mentioned I'd start up again.
I get emotionally sensitive like that, as in, reacting strongly to things I normally just think about and move past.

In HS I remember a girl saying there's such thing as a man period (strictly hormonally speaking mind you). Then again this was HS. But I wouldn't be surprised.

More recently I've been thinking it's a subtle manic/depressive cycle I've been in but it seems a bit wide spread.

Ugh, 5 cupcakes and a kiss for whoever read through my babble. :p
