Oral sex without a condom is NOT 100% risk-free. RE: HIV, the risk is very low but the risk is still there, heightened by the chance that there will be fluid exchange if there are open sores or cuts in the mouth. RE: other STDs, a guy does not have to cum in your mouth in order to contract an STD. There is still a risk. But I believe most guys take the chance and suck cock without a condom, as it is less pleasurable with one on. Best bet is to know well who you are sucking and who is sucking you!

I'm sure most guys probably don't use one. The risk is smaller than with anal sex but as stated the risk is still there. So if you want to be safe.... safe oral sex. If you want to risk your health/life on it... the odds are low but the consequences are huge if your unlucky number comes up. Your choice.

Yes, I know about all that. This is where the hard part comes in. If I'm with a questionable person (which is rare because I don't have sex much anyway) I'd rather just not do it at all. Well the point is, though, that no matter how careful you are, there's still always the chance. I mean, somebody doesn't have to look sick to be sick. I mean, how do you know for sure unless you've both been tested for diseases? And even then, like with HIV, you can still get negative results.

If you are going to have any kind of sex (no matter the partner) you must take all reasonable precautions. I too have made the decision to not use a condom for oral sex, but I also will not give head if I have a cut in my mouth or after I have brushed my teeth (because brushing tears the gums). Recently my bf and I were having a bit of rough sex and we kissed so hard that his lip started bleeding. I love him, trust him, but he knew I would not kiss him with that cut and when he wanted to go down on me I simply said, "its not worth it." It was not an issue. Even in a relationship we have decided to have safe sex and while it may have killed the mood on that one occasion, we still have great sex. So play smart, play safe.

OH PLEASE!!!! I actually did a lot of AIDS education in college(15 years ago) and even then we knew you couldn't get it from oral.We still pushed condoms but none of us used them for oral. People will argue with me but show me one proven case of transmission through oral. I have had oral with several guys with HIV(I didn't know they had it and they lied to me cause I always asked before any kind of sex) trust me I would have caught it if it were possible. I unwillingly field tested I guess you could say.I even had a cut in my mouth and just brushed my teeth when I blew one of the guys. I still freaked out but nothing happened.I mostly freaked cause they lied but AIDS is scary. Do you know how many more AIDS cases there would be if you could get it from oral?! We would all be sick! Most guys don't even swallow but if you did your digestive acids would kill it and do you know how much precum or even saliva you would have to drink to get it? A gallon. That's why no one gets it from deep kissing. Like I said. Don't fuck. I only did oral for 7 years. No fucking.I saw a lot of guys get it and it was always from being a bttm.I have a friend in his 40's who only was a top. He started topping in the early 80's when AIDS hit. By all means use condoms. Just saying don't freak out over some oral I'm sure you are fine.
