Glee! [merged]

The episode was cute, not much to add. I LOLed at Sam's locker being full of chapsticks. Brittany was funny as usual, I want to know what Santana is going to do or say when she finds out about this new couple, I hope she gets all bitchy on Sam's ass.

Anyone catch Blaine's comment about the "bathhouse circuit" last night? HAHAHAHA! I'd certainly visit!

Chord is a smoker. Those eye wrinkles at his age make it obvious.

I thought that too! He does look pretty old for his age..

I guess you're right

It doesn't bother me though. He is by far the hottest guy on Glee.

^I know that because both my parents were smokers [both starting around 15 although my mom quit when she wanted to have children]. With alcohol, you get the raccoon eyes or at worst, the veins under your eyes.

I'll keep my review brief. Holiday episodes suck however, it was not as bad as last season's episode. C+ at best.

Yeah for a Christmas episode it wasn't as bad, fluffy and corny as I was expecting but that isn't saying much, the episode sucked and I had to fast forward in most of the songs. The only highlights for me were the emotional moment between Marley and her mom (I thought it was touching) and seeing Jake Puckerman shirtless:

I so did not understand the whole Artie scene at the beginning....they've already done that when he was dancing The Safety Dance in the mall.

Its come to the point where I'm actually looking forward to the Rachel/Kurt NYC scenes because they have become the only watchable part of the show. Though I really did love the Marly and her Mom scenes.

There's a Behind The Scenes video on Youtube and they said that the scene is a reference to something else, either a scene in the movie Love Actually (that I haven't seen so I don't really know) or a tv show.

So with Finn's Mom and Kurt's Dad being married, you would think this big new family would want to be together for Christmas, yet they seperate back to their old lonely units for Christmas. Seems very unrealistic. And Kurt doesn't have money to go back to Ohio for Christmas....uh, Dad is no longer a mechanic, he's a US Congressman...nice, fat raise he got...dude can fly you home.

Last year, Sam was all charitable and concerned with poor people at Christmas, and missed his big family and young siblings...who only live a short drive away in Kentucky last we heard. This year, he doesn't mention any of this and just hangs out at BreadStix. Of course, no one knows where Sam lives anyway. In an interview, someone recently asked Chord if Sam was still living with Finn's parents and he said, "I'm not sure. I've been wondering. I guess."

Love how the Glee writers just throw anything against the wall.

Lol yeah but don't put too much thought into it, the writers sure don't.

Actually that scene made me hopeful -

I was hoping they were going to say that the whole series had been a dream and they were going to start over with better writers!

lol yea start over, i think they really shot themselves in the foot with having so much of the original cast graduate, i feel like seasons 1-3 were like one show (for example Saved by the bell) and now season 4 on will be a different show (Like saved by the bell, college years) some same people, but not the same shows everyone liked.

i feel this show is soo trying to be degrassi, with the bulimia story line and live triangle feels like they are trying to hard it seems, ill keep watching, because i have some investment in some past characters. lol

After a long hiatus, Glee is back with new episodes. SPOILERS AHEAD!

The good parts: I love the new guy that Kurt is lusting after: he's like Dr. Who minus the timey-wimey stuff. Love seeing more of Becky and her "I got to 3rd base, bitches!" remark. Great to see Lauren Zizes back, especially now that she's hooking up with Teen Jesus. Also noticed a total lack of Sue - the show needs to put her on a bus for a while like they did with Mr. Shue until the writers can remember how to make her as awesome as she was in season 1. Speaking of Shue, I prefer Finn as leader of ND. He's not as overly ernest as Shue was and it gives him something to do other than stand around and pine for Rachel. Speaking of her...

The bad: Rachel is still going after Kate Hudson's sloppy seconds? He isn't hot enough to be worth the drama, OK? Also, what is Tina smoking? What did she expect Blaine to say other than no? Did she suddenly forget that he's allergic to vagina? Even worse, she expected him to apologize for turning her down because it "embarrassed" her. Seriously? He didn't call you an ugly cow, you stupid bint; he just said "no". What did you think an openly gay man is going to say when a woman asks him to be her date to a dance? Speaking of Blaine...

The ugly: Please, please, please do not hook up Blaine with Trouty Mouth, Ryan Murphy. Yes, I know you're going to do it because Blaine is your Mary Sue avatar and you write your characters as well as Rob Liefeld draws comics. Since i'm on the subject of ugly, nice to see Kitty is willing to let her kitty out of the litterbox in an effort to 1-up Marley. Ho-bag only offered Jake a ride on the Katmobile so he'd take her to dance instead of Marley, but thank goodness he had enough sense to see through her BS. Unfortunately, his 1/2 bro Puck still let his Lil' Puck do all the thinking and broke statutory laws with Queen Bitch. Hopefully history will repeat itself and the Cheerios will have someone to take Quinn's place as "Best Head Cheerleader and Teen Mom".

The stupid: The Warblers were on steroids? REALLY? SERIOUSLY? I mean, I knew the show was going to make up some contrived reason to give New Directions another shot, but STEROIDS? It makes ND look like sore-losers that rule-sharked to get their way, except they got lucky and hit pay dirt. Maybe this will lead to an episode featuring songs by Sheryl Crow.

I could have sworn I mentioned in the past [too buzzed to look back] that Blaine would eye Sam. I swear if this Aussie bloke leads Kurt down a path of drug abuse, I will just assume that Ryan Murphy is telepathically stealing my thoughts and that should be grounds for suing.

I HATE the British guy...hated him on "Episodes" and hate him on this. But at least on "Episodes" his accent and bad acting lent themselves to the role he was playing.

Starting this last week, I just FF thru the NYC scenes ( unless there is a shirtless scene of Rachell's boyfriend). I was hoping they would write off Rachel/Kurt. I find them so boring and cliche. I just can't take them. So, I am offically economizing time and forwarding all the NY material.

I thought the latest episode was very meh, just a lot going on without much focus. Some random thoughts...

I really appreciated Kurt's storyline at NYADA, we saw more of that school then we ever did during Rachel's. I like Adam so far, enjoyed that he was courting Kurt to be in his group because he really respects his talent, plus didn't let him deflect that complement. Yes, the actor looks his age but when he performs he looks a lot better. Speaking of looks, I've never thought much of Chris Colfer's but in this episode he looked great.

Brody & Rachel is such a HAM. Seriously. Brody is late (due to circumstances that were beyond his control) and she throws a fit? He tells her he'll move closer so that he'll never be late again, so she then asks him to move in? These two lack any real chemistry for me to care either way.

Poor Tina, always marginalized, she finally gets a storyline and it's a crush on... Blaine. I can understand her being attracted to him, but she was using words like "love of my life" when describing him. Very awkward, completely pulled from thin air, and very looking forward to this storyline being wrapped up.

I find myself enjoying the NY side of Glee more since the new class are 2.0's of the original characters, but I'd like to see more of Unique. Would have been a good episode for her to explore if she had a crush as a transgender. Anything is better then witnessing [STRIKE]statutory rape[/STRIKE] Puck & Kitty.

I liked the "Tell Him" and "No Scrubs" performances.
