Glee! [merged]

I REALLY didn't like that Mr. Schue sang a Matthew Morrison song....lol. It was like Bizarro World where both Mr. Schue and Matthew Morrison both exist.

also I just didn't like the episode...but I did really like Quinn's new haircut=)

I have loved this show from day one and still do, but I was very disappointed with the season finale. So anticlimatic.

Man you guys are hard to please!

I thought the scene between Blaine and Kurt was LOVELY. I've replayed that scene about 20 times since it aired. Its especially satisfying if you've been following Kurt's storyline since season one. He wasn't reserved. He was taken aback because he never thought he'd hear those words from anyone.

It's very true to the experience of gay teenagers who -- before they have their first requited love -- often feel as if everyone else gets someone to love except them. For Kurt, realizing that he not only found someone to love (and in his best friend too!) but that person also loved him back and said it first? That was a beautiful moment, and I love the casual way Blaine said it. As if it were a statement of fact, and not a plea for a reciprocation (though it was reciprocated anyway). It was obviously from the heart since he said it in response to Kurt's good attitude about losing the competition.

I love this couple so much.

Blaine seems to have gotten swishier by the episode......him and Kurt together just looks odder and odder every scene- and Kurt's 'I love you' seemed a little forced- hopefully trouble next year

I noticing that Blaine is sort of looking the "woman" in the relationship, dunno, Kurt just seems to have gotten stronger than him somehow.

I didn't like much of the episode, but I did liked the final scenes. Specially the Brittanna one.

No cliffhanger or anything, I know. We knew they had A LOT of plot holes to tie up and they did the best with it, though I still don't get WTH they are doing with Sunshine. No Santana coming out to the club or even some kissing action either: so disappointing. So many girls in one room, you would think she would have her lady juices flowing like crazy. Hell, I would have even settled for some spooning when they were sleeping. I was hoping that Sam would have been eying Kurt instead of Mercedes (the fag hag that she is) and discretely did something (a wink or blow a kiss) while Blaine said "I love you" to Kurt. Now that is a real shock.

The Blaine-Kurt (I refuse to do portmanteaus of names anymore) relationship still seems forced. I like both actors but the chemistry just isn't there. If you are gonna tell someone you love them for the first time, hold their hand, give them a hug or a peak on the cheek at least. I'm getting sick of all the break-ups and make-ups. Add some real drama and twists (like the ideas I mentioned above) to keep people excited.

The episode was okay but compared to the first season finale, this one is bad.

I haven't cared much for the original songs - I like it better when they pick ones out that suit the plotlines and put their spin on them - they people that have done some of the arrangements are really outstanding and do good work. That said, I'll add my "me too" to the chorus of those who have loved this series from day one, but feel the finale for this season was a bit of a let down. I have faith in the writers though - I'm sure the situation at Nationals had to be a setup for something next season. I'll miss it till it starts again!

As an aside, I've see the music talent that Boston has to offer (the Warblers are from Tufts Uni. a Boston school) and they are not anything special; above average I would say. Go down to Newbury St. and see some of the Berkley kids perform for some true up and coming talent. Reckon I do have a small bias because I dated an opera singer from there and he would croon for me (no further emphasis without me going into horny school girl mode). Hell, I have even seen Wheelock College put on a decent rendition of The Rite of Spring with the ballet.

As I have said, I don't have any particular problem with Darren Criss as a singer/actor at all (his range is not that good compared to Colfer though). My problem is that Chris Colfer and him have little chemistry on set so it is not really a believable couple.
I've been on a few dates with a guy that I fancy a bit and we hold hands, hug, kiss and what not. I haven't told him I loved him yet but if and when I do (or he does), I am positive that a kiss would follow if it is reciprocated. You don't profess your love to someone without some follow up like a kiss or even an embrace.

Yes, that is true, but we are in TV land, where gays are either extremely promiscuous or extremely celibate. That part is more to do with writting than actor chemistry as far I can tell.

Glee cast to be replaced

If this is a repeat topic, my apologies:

No matter how many classes the Glee kids don’t go to, they’re going to graduate. (Seriously, do these kids ever go to any class other than Spanish?) That’s the word from creator Ryan Murphy, who confirmed all of the senior students will graduate from McKinley High in May 2012.

“We didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,” he told Ryan Seacrest on the Idol host’s radio broadcast last Friday. “We really wanted to be true to that experience.”

As such, new characters will begin to pop up this fall and again in midseason as a way to introduce the new kids interacting with the original cast.

Re: Glee cast to be replaced

Hmmm... I am being rather pessimistic but if Ryan Murphy thinks this series will last eight years, he's kidding himself. As much a fan of season 1 as I was, I am very surprised it wasn't axed after season 2.

Re: Glee cast to be replaced

Although it may have gotten off track a little, I still think it's worth watching.

Re: Glee cast to be replaced

Once this current cast "graduates", you will see a severe drop in viewership and it will get axed the following year.

Re: Glee cast to be replaced

I don't think Murphy will replace the entire glee club in just one season...judging from the show's premise, where students interested in the club is few, I think he'll replace them little by little.

But that's my guess though.

I hope Rachel is amongst the first ones to graduate. I hate her.

Re: Glee cast to be replaced

I had heard this before. They've already started the "new generation" with Sam and maybe the girl Isces (is that how you spell it . . . the one who is known for being overweight). And I assume the Chris Colfer character is younger than the others in the show, although maybe that's just because in real life he's the only one of the males who doesn't look like he's pushing 30.

I agree get that bitch out of school.. or kill her off... But I am predicting Sunshine switching over.. and she is clearly younger.. and would make a great lead singer since she isnt annoying at all and has almost no ego and can belt it out like none other
