I loved this performance, as I mentioned earlier, but I hate how Shue comes in at the very end and creeps me out with his weird open mouth cackle of a laugh...it doesn't even make sense...lol
 
@Maestoso Not really. He didn't come out till after his career almost died, he also pussed out when Barbera Walters asked him point blank
 
Not a bad episode. Not enough Darren Criss for me, but not bad.

I'm struck by how unappealing the music has been for me this season. In the past, there was always at least one song I'd download immediately and enjoy listening to. This season it really does feel like KidzBop and there's barely a song I want to hear again.

I also don't understand the constant influx of new characters, when there are so many existing characters who barely get any storyline.

I was waiting for Mike Chang's father's change of heart to be a dream, it was so complete a reversal. I'd have preferred him saying Mike had his blessing to continue performing as long as he also maintained his grades, as a sign of change. And that's what changed him - Mike grabbing his crotch with a bunch of other kids in a Jackson tribute? Mike has been a much more remarkable performer so many other times.

All that aside, Glee is still fun, even with all its inconsistency in character and plot line.
 
I was glad to see Sam back, and seeing him half naked was nice. Would love to stuff some ones down his pants!
 
I found this to be the most watchable episode of the season. Hopefully it will continue.

I will be happy when Kurt graduates - he has become so annoying and everything is a drama for him.

I loved Sam dancing - but I though he was a junior which would make him pretty young for dancing in a bar!

Holiday specials are always dreary and this one was no exception.

I will add for humor. When the episode started I was bitching to my lady friend as the episode began "when the fuck did 'my favorite things' become a holiday song?" Low and behold, it was there and we sang along but I feel that song and to a lesser extent, that musical will just make me angry because of it. Also I fucking hate the bad dynamic that they, the producers, purposely autotunes Kurt's voice to be more feminine and Blaine's to be more masculine; which that song made very apparent.
 
I usually think you guys are being too harsh but I have to agree this episode sucked. I'll admit I am still so in love with Blane and Kurts version of "baby its cold outside" that any holiday episode without it will always suck to me lol.
 
it was bad...I understand what they were going for...and if the show had actual talented writers it could have been pulled off and been great...but it wasn't.

I can't stand Kurt so I hated that he sang so much in it.

So Quinn is just "fixed" now after a 1/4 of an episode last week?
 
Watched the show. Luckily we only have to sit through holiday shows once a year.

Definitely hands down one of the best they have ever done.
 
I agree MercuryJones. The music has not been the greatest this season...I have downloaded songs that I love - teenage dream, silly love songs, etc. Haven't downloaded anything this season.

They really need to stop with the autotune. Damian doesn't sound anything like he did in the auditions.
