Well the dialogue was painfully on the nose but I'm hoping that's just because they have SO much exposition. The character arcs happened super fast and without proper emotional movement. That being said I really liked the characters and the set up and it has the kind of quirky humor I like so I'll watch and hope it gets better.

Very enjoyable debut. Kinda reminded me of the movie "Election" with Matthew Broderick-lite at the teacher, Reese Witherspoon-lite as the obnoxious female student, and Chris Klein-lite as the lovable jock with a heart of gold.

I totally thought of Tracey Flick from "Election" when the introduced the girl and she was turning the Glee coach in for touching the boy...lol.

Love Ryan Murphy...Nip/Tuck and Popular were/are fantastic!

so they have viewers at the start of the real season...they build you up with expectations so you'll be anticipating it come the fall season.


Did anyone else see Miley Cyrus' boyfriend Justin Gaston throughout the show as one of the jocks? Had a nice shirtless scene in the locker room

I am loving this show. I'm officially a fan and the fall season cannot come fast enough now. Jane Lynch is wickedly funny. She's amazing on Party Down as well.
