Glee! [merged]

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

It was probably the best "Dad, I'm gay" conversation I've ever seen on film.

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

I loved that episode. And that was a truly touching moment when he came out to his dad. I definitely teared up when he said the words "I'm Gay". I just wanted to give him a hug (*8*)

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

Love the coming out episode... Everything from the "Single Ladies" intro to the football game.

I love the dynamic between Kurt and his father. The father, in particular, I think is very well drawn... concerned, worried but trying so hard to be supportive. Love him.

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

That was the first one I watched as well. It's a great show.

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

It's a good episode after the bitchy and annoying ep.3. Kurt never fails to impress me (especially his kick!) :gogirl:.

Re: Glee just saw episode where Kurt comes out

I just watched last weeks episode where he comes out to Mercedes, I thought that was handled accurately, I can't wait to see the next episode!

I watched the entire first half of the first season in 2 days! On megavideo so I had to wait 54 minutes every 72 minutes of video I watched.

But I'm hooked and now it's airing over here - episode 5 on monday - I'm watching it all over again!

I have all of the music on my ipod and Mark Salling is gorgeous and a great singer!

The only problem I have with Glee is Finn. He is told what an amazing singer he is when he really isn't and he's supposed to be the heartthrob when he's really not (although that is my opinion, others may like him) I much prefer Puck!

Just recently got to see a bit of the show. I have to say it remionds me alot of popular but not as surreal.

I love this show. I thought it would be cheesy based on the promos -- and it is -- but a little cheese can be good every now and then.

It's surprisingly addictive as well. I assumed it would be one of those shows where every episode is self-contained without an over-arcing plot, but this damn show is like a comedic soap opera with the baby drama and love triangles and whatnot, LoL. I can't help loving it.

Is it April yet?! :)

OK after getting to just watch the pilot I have to say its filled the hole left by Popular. Yes Ryan Murphy has totally copied previous characters from the show here but it has that same sharpe wit. Shame about the over exaggerated lip synching from the cast though.

Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

...and all I can say is HOW did I not watch this show months ago?!?!

Kind of grossly in love with it in every way

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

I love Glee, too.

I'm really excited to see what happens with Will and his wife. I hope Mercedes gets more action on the second season, I think she's the best one, and if Rachel got voted off (hah) that would be fine with me :)

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

It's really a great show. It's sometimes outrageously funny, the music is actually often quite good and there are some beautiful and heartfelt moments in it.

It pretty much fills me with. . .glee. :)

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

Seriously! I have a brother with Down's Syndrome, and I work with lots of people in wheelchairs. So the episode with emotional issues pertaining to Down's, handicaps, AND Kurt's and his father's issues left me a bawling mess at the end of the episode.

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

i have yet to see it.

mayhap i'll grab it when it drops to dvd.

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

Because there once was a time when you had a modicum of self-respect?

Ouch. I once thought the way you do. You'll come around. I did. ;)

I have a great deal of self-respect, and I love the show.

So, um, there.

:spank:

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

I refuse to dignify a show that meticulously butchered a top-five Rolling Stones song. :c)

Lol that's how any Stones' song would sound if sung by a Show Choir. I suppose Show Choirs just shouldn't touch music that you consider sacred :p

Re: Soo I just watched the entire first season of Glee in two days...

Or any music at all, considering the hack job they did with most of my favourite tunes...

lol a gay man who hates the very concept of show choirs/covers. I never thought I'd see the day :p

Well, I'm a huge Queen fan, and I liked their Somebody to Love. So there.
