Glee! [merged]

wow - only the first number (2nd if you count her rendition of Conjunction Junction - LOVED BTW) out here on the west coast. but Gwyneth is rockin' this thus far! I know they can't afford her as a regular. But I hope Mr. Schu gets sick again sometime this spring.

For me this was probably the best episode of the season. In particular, I loved how they showed Schu's more self-centered side--seriously, does every number need to pay homage to Journey? Also the scene with Kurt, Blaine and Mercedes at the restaurant was pretty funny, esp. when Kurt spit out the little purse.

Speaking of Kurt and Blaine, has anyone heard their cover of Baby, It's Cold Outside? I honestly loved it.

I thought the Paltrow/Michele gig was painful to watch...gah, girl cannot dance. Much less act for that matter...I'm still baffled the woman has a fucking Oscar.

Sue as principal should be fun. Other than that it was pretty forgettable.

I can't see the link Hellax, I'll try posting it, it was cool to see the guy who plays the bully is a different person in real life

Re: Glee "Teenage Dream" Dance Mix (songs I'm embarrassed to like)

Nah, don't be embarrassed, it's a fun song to listen to.

I like plenty of stuff my friends don't like, and they ridicule the living hell out of me.

But I figure, if I like it, I like it, so just "own it"

Love the ep. Gwyneth Paltrow was wonderful.

Thanks for the Max Adler clip, Hellax and Cummings. He's such a nice boy, so cute!

:D

Thanx Cummins! I really have no idea why i cannot post these damn youtube vids.

You can embed them like this - with "Youtube" codes, but using square brackets instead of curvy ones - this format:

(YOUTUBE)yE6MFTDy4MQ(/YOUTUBE)

The "Youtube" button in your message reply window puts in the square tags for you. You put your video ID between them.

When you visit a Youtube video, you'll see a "V=" then a bunch of letters and numbers after it. Take those letters and numbers and put it between the JUB "Youtube" tags as the ID. So the above becomes:

^ If you click this twice to click-through and launch it in its own window, you'll see that same "V=" address in the browser bar or in the panel of the video.

:D

I was surprised at how well Gwyneth Paltrow sung. I thought one of Mr. Schuster's dream dances was a bit lame though, not the "Singing in the Rain One."

Having Sue as principal will reek havoc with the Glee Club. Maybe the writers are trying to add a bit more drama to the show.

Mercedes needs to partner up with someone since all the other characters have. The tater tot story line was lame.

I think Artie is sexy as hell!

Overall I enjoyed it.

OK here is a straight English rapper Example doing the song word for word on Radio 1's Live Lounge were the cover songs I have it on my I Pod I like how he's done it.

I love the new versions of Teenage Dream too. This has made Darren Criss an overnight sensation.

Trinket,

That is exactly what i did. I tried it 2 different ways and neither one worked. Thanks though.

I was really disappointed in last night's episode--both the plot and the songs did nothing for me. Hope Carol Burnett can boost it back up next week.

all I do is click the "Share" button underneath the video...then copy the link and paste it into my reply box and it posts the video...

All in all, I was surprised by how well Gwyneth did. She was over-autotuned, but I still enjoyed her songs. And as an actress she was outstanding. I really don't understand why so many people don't like her.

The big exception to these comments was the
"Isn't It Good?/Hot Honey Rag" medley. It requires outstanding dancing skills. (Check out the Gwen Verdon/Chita Rivera or the Bebe Nuewirth/Ann Reinking versions on YouTube.)

Neither Gwyneth nor Lea Michele have the dancing skills to pull that off.

Ang I loved Mercedes hearing "Gay, gay, gay" while Kurt and Blaine were talking. And the little purse falling out of Kurt's mouth was perfect.

Cons--Make Em Laugh and the Chicago songs did not work for me.

Pros--Everything else. Loved Paltrow. I agree--not sure why people slam on her like they do.

The little purse scene almost made me wet myself.

I thought this episode brought some much needed fun to the season.

That is probably one of the lowest points in the season... this episode was just so... forgotable... If wasn't for sue becoming the principal I think that nothing worthing notice would have happened and the episode could just as well as not had happened.

Even so, is Sue taking or stoping taking mental meds? What is up with her atitudes lately?

also, does anyone have any what Darren is doing in this gif?
