Well, I don't think Darren doesn't not look hot in tight shirts. XD

But, ehh, I didn't keep up much with the second season and I plan on keeping up with this one. I am actually glad trout-lips is gone! I never liked him and thank goodness he's outta here. Santana is, obviously, only gone for a bit. And Quinn's story seems interesting....


Anyways, I thought the first episode was good. Not amazing, but it was a decent start and we'll see how it goes.
Though I do admit the Kurt and Blaine scenes can be kind of "blah". >.> But not too horrible. Some good scenes have been done.

First episode was ok, not great. Won't be downloading any of these songs. I have to say I am getting a little tired of these dumb storylines. Every season it is about trying to recruit, get to nationals, stay true to yourself, etc.

My husband Blaine did ok tonight. The outfits were horrible. Just noticed last night that both Blaine and Kurt always button up their shirt the whole way. Just nerdy looking.

The first episode was OK for me. I am disappointed that Sam was not around.

I think Blaine (Darren) is simply amazing and he is gorgeous but he has pretty much trumped the show I would love for Mercedes and Tina to have more screen time and where is Karofsky it would be nice to have an episode with him coming to terms with himself maybe even confiding in Blaine but the show has lost a lot of momentum from the first season they need to go back to what made Glee, Glee and I hated that project glee crap such an uber waste of time IMO

I thought so too. The loss of Sam kinda hurts.
if the rest of the season is as lackluster as the opener I will surely lose interest.

I hate Blaine...Ryan Murphy must be in love with Darren because for some reason he gives him all this screen time and importance he doesn't deserve while kicking off my beloved Sam .

This episode was nice, not awesome but nice.

What I liked:

-Becky throwing a slushie to Rachel and giggling, freaking funny!!
-The last song was so cool.

What I disliked:

-Blaine.
-Kurt's songs are still boring.

That's all I can remember right now.

I wonder if they are going to give Blaine a solo in every episode again and push more of the original cast to the background.

They really need to get some writers who can get control over the show and its sub-plots. Characters like Sue have become totally out of control and at this point she would be in jail not teaching.

The Sue character is getting old going into it's 3rd season. She has pretty much earned several prison terms if it were real life. I hope they put her away soon.

I liked this premier, it wasn't extra-ordinary, but it was a good season starter (I couldn't help but notice that Finn had no impact in this episode, and I couldn't be happier)

Blaine is made of the finnest win, his clothes in this episode was made of sex, and Not Unusual gave me boners.

That said, his transfered WAS forced... but I prefer this done quick and fast, rather than having the storyline be dragged through 10+ episodes.

Blaine is such a Mary Sue which is why people hate on him constantly. Ryan Murphy never heard the term "character development" at all. For those not well versed in literature commentary...

A Mary Sue in literary criticism and particularly in fanfiction, is a fictional character with overly idealized and hackneyed mannerisms, lacking noteworthy flaws, and primarily functioning as a wish-fulfillment fantasy for the author or reader. It is generally accepted as a character whose positive aspects overwhelm their other traits until they become one-dimensional.

As much as I love Jane Lynch, Sue is now a one-trick pony. Any sort of development she had like in the Willy Wonka episode is just gone completely. It's sad when the most developed character on the show is Emma.

I watched the movie when it came out this summer, I was the ONLY person in a town of half a million population in that cinema. They had to cancel it after only a week.

The problem is the writing.

The characters are not consistent or growing. They need to get some people in who know how to write a good story and let it grow - it seems that a lot of the stories just jump from week to week with no consistency of flow.

Murphy's too busy trying to be a TV mogul running several shows at once- result...all of them turn to crap.

Yeah I heard rumors he is writing a musical for Gwyneth Paltrow.

I doubt this show will make it a season 4 at this rate or it will be truncated.

Which brings us to tonight's episode which was quite good. Whoever wrote this episode should just write the rest of the season. Britney and her "unicorn". Quinn & Puck's baby. This is the kind of writing I expect and hope continues. The music wasn't anything special but I'll take awesome plot over cheesy music numbers.

I do hate how they spoiled the next episode in the teaser. Britney will win class president and further drag Kurt down into the abyss after being upstaged by Blaine. I sincerely hope that Murphy didn't whore himself out for a Coldplay song (Fix You was played during the teaser) and in turn is forced to write a musical for Gwyneth. We know Martin is heavily protective of Coldplay's music for public play.

I know they are trying to show more of who the character's are this season and create rounded out personalities for everyone, but all of a sudden Quinn and Puck care about being in the life of their baby, and Quinn wants custody...they didn't talk about the baby when she was pregnant and all of a sudden it's the most important thing ever to both of them?!

and PLEASSSSSSSEEEE can we have an episode with no Kurt, Rachel or Finn PLLEEEEASSSSEE!!!
